Itinerary
Day 1: From Manaus to the Lodge
Stop At: Amazon Rainforest, State of Amazonas
Day One:
Morning:
8:30 - Pick-up from the lobby of your hotel
9:00 - Departure from Manaus port by speed boat (regular transportation, approx. 30 min) crossing the Rio Negro to the village of Cacau Pirera. You will travel by car (approx. 50 minutes) to the village of Paricatuba. From this village you will travel by motorized canoe to the Lodge (located approx. 75 km from Manaus)
12:00 - Arrival at lodge and lunch.
Afternoon:
After lunch with our bilingual guide you will take a canoe trip through small creeks and go fishing for piranhas. A nocturnal expedition will allow you to see alligators and other wildlife that are hidden during the day time.
Evening:
Dinner
Duration: 1 day

Day 2: Second day at the lodge
Stop At: Amazon Rainforest, State of Amazonas
Day two:
Morning:
Breakfast, followed by an educational jungle walk for approx. 2.5 hours. During the walk the guide will teach you about medicinal plants and the trees of the Amazon rainforest. The high altitude means different plant life, bigger trees and a dense forest.
Afternoon:
Return to the hostel for lunch. After lunch, take a paddling canoe trip through small channels (Igarap□s) or flooded lands (Igap□s), depending on the season.

Day 3: Third day in the jungle
Stop At: Amazon Rainforest, State of Amazonas
Day three:
Morning:
Early sunrise tour, breakfast and a visit to the home of local natives.
These “Caboclos" maintain a traditional lifestyle and they are proud people who are happy to share their way of living. Here our guide will also explain about local farming techniques.
Afternoon:
Back to the hostel, lunch and departure for overnight camping in the jungle with a local guide. At this point in the expedition, our experienced jungle guide will show you all you need to know about extracting everything that is needed from the rainforest without destroying it. There will also be an opportunity to see some wildlife and you will be able to listen the chorus of birds, howler monkeys and other animals at night.
Duration: 1 day

Day 4: Return to Manaus
Stop At: Amazon Rainforest, State of Amazonas
Day Four:
Morning:
Breakfast in the jungle. Jungle walk and travel back to the lodge.
Afternoon:
Lunch and free time to swim in the tea-colored waters of the Rio Negro. Prepare to travel back to Manaus, arriving around 5:00pm.
Includes: 3 dinners, 4 lunches, 3 breakfasts
For the guest that goes for the 4D/3N include one night in the jungle and the guest need to buy a specially mosquito net for hammocks for the night in the jungle. Please Note: It is not mandatory to sleep out in the jungle.

This was an absolutely amazing trip! Before purchasing I was hesitant because I had seen some less than stellar reviews about the trip but it was honestly one of the best packages I've ever taken and I truly feel that those reviews were not deserved by the group. Eduardo and Fabio made sure that all of the participants in the trip were taken care of and you really felt like they cared about your experience. They both spoke excellent English, which I was grateful for as Portuguese is very hard for me to learn. Fabio was our main guide for the 4 days and he was so incredibly knowledgeable about the Amazon and the Rio Negro. We were able to learn so much from him in those 4 days. Now, if you're expecting a posh 5 star resort, this is probably not for you. However, if you want a truly caring and knowledgeable group of people to show you around their home turf in the Amazon Jungle then DO IT! It is AMAZING!

4days accomplish so much! It is a beautiful and safe exp.Traveled w my child and had incredible time.Guide, Fabio, is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and responsible.Eduardo,mgr,very kind, generous w time and happy to share history.Bring golloshes and flashlight.Soap not provided,bedding not too clean.

Tour was more calm and relaxing for us. Not crowded. However the tour guides were non English speaking and things always get lost in translation. Main guide was not in charge of our stay and activities although it would be much more helpful.

We did this 4-Day Adventure Tour in November 2015. The global experience was nice, thanks to the nice nature of Manaus and thanks to the guide. We cannot say the same thing about the Agency tour/ the organizers as we were UNpleasantly surprised by the bad organisation and the behaviour of the organizers.
First of all, I would call this tour a 3-DAY Adventure Tour and not a 4-Day Adventure tour as we started our first activity at 3pm on D1 and we finished our last activity at 11pm on D4 which was a bit disappointing.
Despite a few email conversations, we never received the complete program of our trip and we have been informed 1day in advance that we would sleep in the jungle... which forced us to purchase a mosquito net to the organizers at the high price of 35-30/each. They also incite you to add paying activities to your trip at extravagant price dolphins @50/person real price is between 10 and 20 maximum whereas the tour is supposed to be all included... But I insist to make the difference between the organizers Leonardo Mendes and Fernando - very bad business men and the guide Fabio - an angelThanks you
