Amazing tour!

Trip to Argentina was good. Was picked up at hotel and we drove to Argentina. Guide fixed papers on the border might go fast. The guide is good at rounding numbers. for example when he was going to buy entrance ticket. he paid 100 brl. did not get anything back. He also paid taxes there, he said. really you pay for transportation to the park and back. In the park you find the way yourself and you are independent often.

The trip was supposed to last 6 hours. It became 11 hours instead. Very good guide, with a lot of energy who made us hike for 12 km and showed us the most beautiful sights.The Argentinian Falls are definitely a must when you are in Foz do Iguacu.

Our guide was Antonio. Antonio was the most attentive, helpful and genuinely caring guide that I have ever experienced. He was genuinely invested in making our day great. Antonio knew a lot about the falls and every other unrelated question we had to ask. Antonio really made the day amazing. He even walked through all the restaurants to find us and then lined up in the check out queue to hold our spot for us so we could eat for longer and pay quicker. What an amazing guide. Thank you!
The tour itself was great too. the content was good and we felt like we really experienced the falls. We started with devils throat, then did the boat ride, 4x4 safari and lower circuit, then we finished with the upper circuit.
The only thing to note is that the info says the tour finishes at 6pm. This is the Argentine time but as you are staying in Brazil its actually 7pm. All in all a long day.
At the beginning of the tour Antonio took us to the money exchange to get AR Pesos which was very helpful.
Overall a great day with the best guide. -

I enjoyed seeing the Argentina side of the falls since I stayed on the Brazil side, but I was slightly misled when I booked this tour. I was under the impression that the tour was from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The tour guide said that I would not get back to my hotel until around 6:00 p.m. I had to catch a flight from Foz do Iguacu to Rio that evening so I had to pay for a taxi to take me back across the border to the park entrance in Brazil to ensure that I did not miss my flight. This tour is approximately 10 hours long, so plan to be away for the entire day. I think that on the Argentina side, you get more up-close views of the waterfalls than on the Brazil side, but there seem to be more tourists on the Argentina side. If you plan to stay on the Brazil side, I recommend that you make a trip to the Argentina side for a different perspective.

The trip was great, our guide was perfect and the falls were absolutely wonderful.

This tour got off to a delayed start as we were supposed to be picked up from the airport on the Argentinean side but the guide was waiting for us at the airport on the Brazilian side. However after that was sorted out the tour went very smoothly. The guide spoke very good English and managed to answer all our questions. We never felt we were being rushed and had plenty of time for lots of photo's. The falls are amazing and are obviously the main attraction but also look out for the local wildlife. We got our first sightings of vultures roosting and giant catfish swam under the bridge as we walked out to the Devils Throat.
We did the Brazilian side of the falls by ourselves the next day and it is definitely worth doing both sides if you have the time as they give completely different perspectives -
It was a great tour and our guide Claudio respected individual needs, breaks e.g. Differrent to the description he had sufficient Argentinian pesos, so we didn't need another stop after the 20 minutes stop at both sides for immigration. Unfortunately we didnt have enough Brasilian Real.
However the contacht to Viator was not simple, we had problems to reach the indicated phone number and didn't get an answer on our message via the viator website -
Almost all of the falls are on the argentinian side, so when you do this tour you are very close to the falls. Our guide, Claudio, was great. The tour involves a bit of walking, around 7-8 km, but this was easy.
