Spend time in the museum named after this poem to learn more.Continue along the battle front line of Hill 60 to Hellfire Corner, which served as the Allied soldier’s accessed the trenches. Learn the significance behind at the Pool of Peace (Spanbroekmolen), a mine crater filled with water, and visit the Island of Ireland Peace Park in Messines. End with a visit to Ploegsteert and see the Memorial to the Missing and the commemoration plaque for Winston Churchill.Travel to Ypres in the early evening and enjoy a little free time for dinner (own expense).
