Antwerp By Bike is the leading bike tour organisation in Antwerp: with over 5 years of experience, our guides are well-known for their in-depth knowledge of the city and their great story-telling skills.
Hop on one of our high quality bicycles and discover Antwerp with us!
A rich history, stunning monuments, bustling neighbourhoods, hidden alleys … Antwerp has it all. On the Antwerp by Bike tour, our guide takes you on a journey through the highlights and the best-kept secrets of the city.
The Old Port: Did you know that Antwerp has the second largest port in Europe? This vast area is a universe on it’s own too big to include on a 2 or 3 hour bike tour. No worries though: we do have the time to visit the old port, where it all started. Today the trendy neighbourhood ‘t Eilandje hosts world-class museums like the MAS and the Red Star Line museum, cosy bars and restaurants, and a beautiful waterfront.
The Central Station: A while ago, an international website confirmed what everyone in Antwerp secretly suspected: that our Central Station is really the most beautiful station in the world. And if it’s written on the internet, it must be true, right? We are curious to hear what you think about it, so please tell us while we visit it during the tour!
The Historical Centre: It took almost 2 centuries to build the cathedral of our good lady, and even that wasn't enough to complete it, because it’s missing a second tower. No one in Antwerp cares, though, we are perfectly happy with the 123 meter tall tower we have! During the tour we cycle through the historical centre and learn more about the golden age of Antwerp and other remarkable chapters in our long history.
Brs and restaurants: No shortage of spots to eat and drink in Antwerp. On the 3 hour tour, we stop halfway for some refreshments you should certainly try one of our local beers such as Bolleke Koninck or Seefbier. The 2 hour tour is too short for a break, but don’t hesitate to ask our guides for some recommendations. Some of the best bars, coffee houses and restaurants are in non-tourist neighbourhoods, and we don’t want you to miss them!
And there's more:
