Visit the world-famous Los Glaciares National Park, situated near the town of El Calafate. These are two of Argentina’s tourist attractions that you simply cannot afford to miss.
Day 1:
After being welcomed at Ushuaia airport we will visit the stunning Tierra del Fuego National Park situated in the south-east of the province, almost touching the border with Chile. This is the most southern national park in the Andes and is a beautiful Patagonian forest with lakes, lagoons and rivers. Take a ride in the Austral Fueguino train, known as the “Train to the End of the World”. The train crosses the Pipo River, stopping at various points so that passengers can appreciate the fantastic panoramic views of Lago Roca and Lapataia Bay, and the impressive snowed-capped peaks of Cerro Nevado and La Cadena Sampaio (Chile).
Day 2:
After having breakfast, join the morning tour to Beagle Channel and Sea Wolf Island, the first remote tourist destination. During the afternoon, you will take the transfer to Ushuaia airport to take your flight to El Calafate where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel.
Day 3:
After breakfast we will take a bus to Punta Bandera where we will then get on board of a boat for a trip across the "Ice Rivers". Here we will appreciate the other various glaciers: Upsala, Onelli, Agassiz and Bolado. You can take your own lunch along with you for the tour or you have the option to buy some snacks on board the boat.
Day 4:
Departing from El Calafate, we will travel 80kilometers by bus to the simply mind-blowing natural beauty of the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the last naturally advancing glaciers in the world. Then we will take a boat across the Lake Brazo Rico and appreciate the various faces of the famous glaciar. You will have time at leisure to explore the place on your own in the "Pasarelas"
Day 5:
Transfer to the airport to take your flight back to Buenos Aires.行程概要出發地點

My wife and I purchased this 5-day trip in Ushuaia and El Calafate but worked with Viator and the local tour operator that Viator subcontracts Signature to increase it to 9 days. One nice thing about booking through Viator is that you can be assured that the local operator is reputable and, in this case, that was crucial to the success of our trip. Signature was able to help us with the additional hotel accommodations, box lunches, and transfers to make this an outstanding vacation. In addition, we had problems with our internal flights in Argentina and Signature was invaluable with regard to helping us adjust our itinerary.
We did all the excursions included in the 5-day itinerary: Tierra del Fuego National Park, Austral Feuguino train, Beagle Channel boat ride, Pertio Moreno glacier, and the Punta Bandera boat trip to see Upsala glacier. While that would have been a fine itinerary I'm really glad we added the extra days since we traveled so far to experience Patagonia.
In addition to the above we added Mini Trekking on the Perito Moreno glacier, a day trip to Torres del Paines National Park in Chile, and the Nativo Excursion near El Calafate which, all together, combined for the trip of a lifetime.
I think we enjoyed the Mini-Trekking extra trip that we arranged the best followed by the Torres del Paines day trip also an extra add on.
This 5-day itinerary is a great starting point for a longer adventure. It may be too short as a stand alone vacation, especially if you fly a long ways to get to Patagonia Chicago for us, but that's the nice thing about Viator they can adjust itineraries to meet your needs. Be aware that your air transportation between cities is not included and you have to book those things on your own.
The hotels they booked us into were fine and we never had any issues with any of the arrangements. We were always picked up on time and everyone we worked with was friendly and helpful.

This was a very well thought out tour with excellent use of our time in Ushuaia and El Calafate. Beautiful cities that I would highly recommend to all. Glaciers, fauna and flora are a must see. Experienced and knowledgeable local guides and drivers made the experience a success. Thank you Viator for an experience I will remember fondly for the rest of my life!
