Your Patagonian adventure begins with pickup from your hotel in El Calafate. Relax on the 28-mile (45-kilometer) journey to the port at Punta Bandera, where your three-hour boat cruise departs.
Enjoy croissants and hot drinks served on board the comfortable boat as you glide among icebergs, past the stunning scenery of snow-covered peaks. Sail to through along Lake Argentino, then cruise along Cristina Channel to Estancia Christina.
Disembark at the historic estancia, and learn the history of the sheep and cattle ranch on a visit to the museum and old shearing shed. Enjoy a snack break before continuing your tour of the estancia.
Take a short guided walk up to Caterina River to visit the estancia’s chapel and other historic buildings.
After lunch (own expense), take an off-road trip for fantastic views of the Upsala Glacier (if 4x4 Tour option is selected), or an easy hike to see the beautiful waterfall of Los Perros (if Waterfall Tour option is selected).
The three-hour off-road trip takes you along a scenic mountain trail, following a route of great geological interest, until quite recently covered by glaciers. Reaching a mountain refuge, take a 20-minute walk over terrain eroded by glaciers to reach the Upsala Glacier. From here you can see amazing views of Lake William, the Patagonian ice field and the Andes mountains.
If you choose the walk to the cascading waters of Los Perros waterfall, the two-hour hike takes you through beautiful woodlands for lofty views of Caterina River and the estancia below.
In the late afternoon, relax on the boat ride back to the port of Punta Bandera, arriving at around 7:30pm, then be dropped off at your hotel at El Calafate.行程概要出發地點

Pros: Sailing past Icebergs the size of houses.
Cons: Saw Upsala Glacier from very far away. Was surprised to not get even remotely close, maybe a mile away? Most of the tour is time at the Estancia. While the Estancia is interesting, it is not worth the money, especially when lunch is not included and very expensive. Would have liked to sail more around the glacier and surrounding areas. The hike to the waterfall was easy and although allowed 3 hours for the hike, we arrived there within 45 minutes. So lots of down time. The boat seating is comfortable, but viewing areas outside are limited. It often felt cramped and people were constantly fighting for positions at the rails to take photos. Boat had a professional photographer that would put you in poses and have photos for purchase on the ride home.

We were fortunate with no wind and hence a calm lake. Otherwise the 3 hour boat trip to Estancia Cristina would have been rough. A good experience overall.

What a great tour... different than Perito Mereno for sure.
Would have liked to get closer to the glacier on the boat, but walking up the hill and seeing the top of it with the clear, blue lake was amazing and made this a great tour. So cold at the top and windy - but the views were gorgeous!
The 4x4 ride was so interesting - and not what I was expecting but was better... crawled up the high mountain to the camp base for the glacier...
Long day... but great time!

The trip was okay. The advertisements for the trip make it seem like the boat goes right up to the Uppsala glacier, but that is not true. The lunch was good, and we enjoyed the off road trip to the viewpoint of the glacier. Take a book, because the boat ride is kind of long

Everything was qiute organized. Knowledgable guides. There was quite an emphasis on the expensive Restaurant.
Impressive laguna. it is worth a trip, however it is difficult to justify the price - though other companies ask for even a higher rate. -
Amazing! It is a bit pricey but so worth it!
Caution - the lake is rough!
Estancia Cristina - bring packed lunch (lunch tho fab costs ARS600)
All guides were awesome! Views were out of the world! You get the lake, mountains, icebergs, fields and the glacier (awesome if u choose 4WD).
