Stop At: Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, El Calafate, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
This unique natural wonder has been declared a "World Heritage Site of Humanity" by UNESCO in 1981. The National Park includes a scenario of mountains, lakes and forests, a large portion of the Andes Mountains covered with ice and snow to the west and the arid Patagonian steppe to the east.

Pass By: Perito Moreno Glacier, Los Glaciares National Park, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
In the South area of the National Park, it is the most famous of all the glaciers, the Perito Moreno Glacier. It owes its fame to its continuous movement, which produces a cyclical phenomenon of ongoing advance and retreat with spectacular falls of gigantic blocks of ice into the waters.
Stop At: Pasarelas Perito Moreno, El Calafate, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
Follow the boardwalks to strategically placed viewing platforms to witness the glacier from all angles and levels, and admire the surrounding mountain and forest scenery.
For close-up views of Perito’s south face, visit the footbridge directly in front of the glacier. Marvel at the craggy 196-foot (60 meter) high front wall, with its meringue-like peaks and cliffs soaring over the lake’s waters. Take close-up photos and listen for the eerie creaks that precede the regular calving ─ when chunks of ice rupture and fall into the lake in a crashing spectacle.

if you choose the boat ride option, step aboard and sail across the Rico arm of Lake Argentino. Then, have your camera ready as you sail between floating ice close to the majestic 196-foot (60 meter) high front wall. Gaze up at the towering cliffs and watch spellbound as chunks of ice crash into the water ─ an unforgettable sight.

Wonderful trip, pick-up right on time at the hotel, perfect organisation.
Our guide Nadia was super enthusiastic, gave lots of information in very good English.
We stopped at various beautiful miradors, had a boattrip to the gletsjer at the end of the morning and plenty of time afterwards to lunch and walk around the different platforms to admire the perito moreno, on the return trip we were offered a little glass of liquor of the calafateberries and a chocolade which was a nice gesture. Cherry on the caks was the wonderful weather we had the entire day. -
Everything runs like a clock work. Our guide was fantastic. It was a very easy trip and very well organized. Love it and will do it again. Beautiful weather and good boat ride. Although the boat is a little packed.

Wonderful glacier and you get so close with the walkway that has been placed for Guests to see most all sides of this amazing glacier. The weather was warm and clear so made the glacier so great and the boat ride to the glacier got us so close to the entire face of the glacier - gorgeous and plenty of time to take great pictures and awe at nature at its finest.

The glaciar is definitely worth seeing.Our guide’s attitude at the beginning was unacceptable-we were called the day before the trip that the pick-up time is not 8:30 but 9:10. The bus came at 8:50 and guide (Anna) said: you are going now or not at all which was shocking as we already paid for trip.

The tour was fantastic! Our guide Anna took time to explain the sights along the way. I liked the boat tour and loved getting up close. Lunch at the park is busy and packed. Wear layers!

Really awesome trip. The glacier park is fantastic. The boat trip was a bit disappointing in that there were far too many people packed onto the boat, all pushing and shoving to take pictures.
In retrospect I would have prefered to have rented a car and driven myself there. Its a free park to enter you can them choose which time of boat trip you prefer, rather than be shepherded with the rest of tentourage groups.
Was it worth 180 for two of us? Yes, totally, but d have hired a car we could have had a much more enjoyable day for half the price.
Also worth noting that there is no cafe there, so a packed lunch is a must -
great experience. amazing view and kind guide. Highly recommend.
