Stop At: San Telmo, Buenos Aires, Capital Federal District
Meet your guide and small group in San Telmo and make your way to the city center aboard a comfortable minivan. Start your tour at the place where Bergoglio lived with his parents and siblings during his first years of life. Visit formative educational institutions, such as the College of Our Lady of Mercy and Universidad del Salvador, a Jesuit university. See where the pope took his sacraments and received his religious vocation, including Basilica of San Jos□ de Flores, where he devoted his life to God when he was just 17 years old.

Stop At: Iglesia de San Ignacio de Loyola, Buenos Aires, Capital Federal District
In addition to educational and religious sites, your guide will take your small group to the San Lorenzo de Almagro Athletic Club, where you’ll learn about the pope’s love of futbol (soccer).

Then, you will head to the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Cathedral, which overlooks Plaza de Mayo. Considered the main Catholic church in Buenos Aires, the 16th-century cathedral was rebuilt several times in a mix of architectural styles. It was here that the Argentinean people waited to hear the designation of the successor to Pope Benedicto XVI.

Our tour guide was helpful and made the tour enjoyable. But we feel we should have been driven to the place we started from, versus left on our own to get back.

We had a very nice walking tour in Buenos Aires and I loved that our tour guide had alot of knowledge of the city and its history. I would highly recommend walking tours whenever possible. I have been using viator for awhile now, and have never been disappointed.

Good tour but guide could have had more background on Pope Francis with clearer English. A world traveller would already know something of the Pope's background and so could do with more local input. It was still a good tour and using a local street taxi was an unusual way of touring.

Very pleasant and friendly tour guide. However, deeper history and explanation of the significance of the sites visited would be helpful. A couple of the stops on the tour are somewhat contrived and you can only view from the outside without access.

We had a very comprehensive tour , lots of walking for 79 great grandma and daughter, but I made it, heat and all.our tour guide was very well informed about all the church's we visited..
My one complaint was when we arrived at the office in San Telmo by taxi, no one was in sight anywhere, office closed because of holiday. We left but decided to go back once more and our tour. guide was down a couple of blocks and motioned to us. If the office is closed , someone should be there early to meet tourists.
We almost missed our tour. -
