    產品介紹

Amsterdam, a city that is today known for its canals and cannabis, art museums and architecture, was once referred to as the “Jerusalem of the West.” That was from the 17th century until 1940, when its Sephardic community was among Europe’s largest and most affluent. Explore this intriguing side of one of Europe’s most strikingly beautiful cities with a tour of its Jewish sites.

Meet your guide and explore a late-19th-century diamond factory, once the biggest of its kind in Europe. Learn how local Jews were responsible for bringing the diamond industry to Amsterdam and how they polished and shined the gems in the factory, built in 1879 and once powered fully by steam. Watch diamond cutters practice their trade, as your guide regales you with the secret history of diamonds in the area.

After a short walk, enter the Portuguese Synagogue. Still a functioning synagogue, this recently restored building was constructed in 1675. The high-ceilinged interior, with its columns and gold chandeliers, is beautiful enough that in 2012 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu proclaimed it to be “one of the most beautiful synagogues I have ever seen.”

From the synagogue, another short walk takes you to the Jewish Historical Museum (Joods Historisch Museum). Your guide takes you through the museum, filled with over 13,000 works of art and other objects. There will also be time to explore the museum on your own.

After some looking around, you’ll be driven by minibus to the Anne Frank House, one of the most interesting and haunting spots in the city. It was here that the young Jewish girl Anne Frank hid from the Nazis while penning her now-priceless diary about the experience. The entry line here is often long — visitors sometimes spend more time in line than they do exploring the house — as the museum and former home is one of the three most popular sites in the city. But with this tour you’ll be able to skip the line and enter the house at an entrance specified for groups, saving a lot of time. You’ll peruse the house on your own.

The tour ends at the Anne Frank House, leaving you free to go wherever you like next.

A wonderfully unique way to get out and see the country side around Amsterdam.although the A/C in the bus was not operable on the first leg, the ride was comfortable and the guide through the windmills and on the luncheon and cruise part of the tour was ecxcellent.

Great tour. Guide excellent. Very interesting day. Would recommend this your. The only negative thing was the down pouring rain.

  • Dolores R (2015-09-04)3

YOU MUST SEE ANNE FRANK'S HOUSE. SKIP THE MUSEUM

  • Judy B (2015-09-01)5

Did it initially for the skip the line tickets to Anne frank, but ended up enjoying the entire afternoon. Our tour guide was great and all of the stops were very relavent to the Jewish history of Amsterdam. Worth the money.

This was a very good tour made even better by the great tour guide Jose who was so helpful and informative , I would recommend this tour .

  • Cathy P (2015-08-28)5

The lines were unbelievable and we went right in and words are not adequate to describe the experience once in the Anne Frank House.

  • Kenneth H (2015-08-25)5

Excellent guide, enjoyed his commentary. We by passed a very long line to the Anne Frank House. Definitely worth the extra money not to waste part of a day standing in line.

  • Patricia V (2015-08-21)4

We wasted over an hour at Gasson, a large diamond store that is Jewish owned. I was not interested and did not want to be pitched. The rest of the tour was excellent. We had a knowledgable guide and ample time to visit the sites. We missed a number of important Jewish sites, including the Holocaust Museum, because we had the long visit to the diamond store. Please make this correction to the future trips

Our tour was good. Our guide was new to his job, so he couldn't answer all of the questions because I think he said this was his first Anne Frank House and Jewish Historical Museum tour. I have done a food tour in Rome with Via for and thought it was the best experience I could have, and this didn't compare as well. Again, I think it was our guide. I'm sure he'll get much better with each tour that he does. Just wish it hadn't been ours. Thank You.

Tour was overpriced and too lengthy. The diamond factory consisted of sales pitches. It was difficult to understand the tour guide, so we weren't really sure about the significance of the Jewish synagogue. The Jewish museum was ok, it was informative through videos on the 2nd floor. The Anne Frank house was a great experience, it was nice being brought to the front of the line. However all through the house you are walking in a straight line from room to room, from floor to floor. It would have been nice to explore the house without walking in a line.
