You are guaranteed to see a mixture of flowers in bloom from March to May, but April travel dates are recommended for the greatest chance to see the gardens at their very best, including the tulips. Not only was it front of the line, but we had the best drop off point. Guide Maryanne was very friendly and informative. The bulb farm was really interesting.

Bulb Farm could have done without but all in all it was a great tour! Learned a lot about pod flowers and how they’re grown and harvested. Keukenhof Gardens was AMAZING! Not all flowers where in bloom but I barely noticed! Everything was so manicured and beautiful! It was like a mini amusement park minus the rides. Me and my partner thouroughly enjoyed it.

Our tour took us to the bulb farm and fields which was very interesting, then on to the beautiful gardens. Where we had a few hours to ourselves to view these spring flowers in full bloom. As it was all organised there were no waiting in the queue to enter the Keukenhof Park.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The gardens were much better than expected. Well laid out within woodland with lakes. Varied displays and millions of beautiful flowers. Spacious enough to cope with the amount of visitors. The visit to the bulb farm was good too with friendly and informative host

Perhaps one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Netherlands, the short season (8 weeks) makes for an intense experience. Hospitality facilities are adequate for the crowds. Our tour provided four hours, but three is plenty. The end of the first week of the season provides plenty of color. Grounds are meticulously maintained like a private, exclusive golf club. Pavilion exhibits are arranged to provide plenty of space to accommodate crowds.
The visit was preceded with a tulip farm stop which was an added bonus. Third generation owner Dan and his wife were most hospitable and informative. Multiple photo ops in the gift shop. -
This tour was really good and reasonably priced. We got on a big double decker bus which was very comfortable. Our first visit, to a local flower farm was very informative and beautiful.
The Keukenhof itself is really a once in a lifetime place to see if you love flowers. The beauty and attention to detail cannot be described. Given that the park is only open a couple months a year, it is crowded (I would avoid the weekend), but the park and it's facilities are large enough to accommodate. The time at the park was a bit long (4+ hours), so take your time. I would definitely do this tour again!

We booked this tour well ahead of time. Everything was well organized. We showed up as directed at the tour office at 26 Damrack. We expected a big crowd scene and confusion, but we were wrong about that! There were indeed many people there, but the Tours and Tickets folks were very well organized. The office is clean and accommodating. They did a great job of gathering up all of the folks for the correct tour and shepherding us onto the double-decker bus. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The bus driver was very skilled. We loved the outing. The stop at De Tuliperij tulip farm was a real highlight - an unexpected treat. Enjoyed it and learned a lot. The gardens themselves were stunning. The guide had given us plenty of information to help us get the most of our time there. I am very happy that we went to the gardens and that we took this particular tour.

I showed our ticket to the rep and she said this was our tour. Arrived at the bus to find out that not only us but four other people were led to the wrong bus. We had to run to catch up with our correct group. Upon arriving at the tulip farm we asked our guide how long we were going to be there. He said, long enough. We needed to have a guideline 30 to 45 minutes so we would know if we could walk through the area. That was very unprofessional. The Keukenhol Gardens were beautiful even though the tulips weren't fully bloomed. The bus was on time to return to Amsterdam. Upon returning to the city all passengers wanted to exit the bus on the canal side of the station. We were told no and we drove for an extra 80 minutes away from the city only to return and be dropped off in front of the station. The bus has no leg room either and I'm only 5'5. My husband 6'2 was really uncomfortable. When we purchased our tour tickets on-line it said free canal ride at night. Viator would not honor it. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Highly recommend this tour which includes tulip farm visit before visiting the gardens.
