The pass is valid 24 or 48 hours, and live onboard commentary in 6 languages provides interesting information about Amsterdam.

    At any time during your hop-on hop-off tour, enjoy access to the Hermitage Museum, the Dutch version of the world-famous Hermitage in St Petersburg, Russia. Tour the fascinating gallery of masterpieces and see where famous artists such as Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro, Paul Gauguin, Alfred Sisley and many others have left their mark.

    Green and blue lines start from Central Station West, the red line starts from Central Station East, and the orange line from Rembrandt Plein. You can also hop on and off at any of the other 19 canal stops.

    Canals boats run at the following frequencies on 4 different lines: Green line: 9:30am - 6:30pm: once an hour, daily 9:20am - 6:45pm: once an hour on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; daily from July 5  September 1 Red Line: 10:10am - 6:20pm: once an hour, daily 10:15am - 6:45pm: once an hour on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; daily from July 5  September 1 Blue Line: 9:40am - 4:45pm: once an hour, daily 10am - 5:45pm: once an hour on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; daily from July 5  September 1 Orange Line: 10:30am - 6:20pm: once every 30 minutes, daily 10am - 6:20pm: once every 30 minutes on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; daily from July 5  September 1 Hermitage opening times: 10am to 5pm, daily

    We were very disappointed in your tour. We finally found the boat and got on it at the central station. We got off at the market stop and then waited 2 hours and no boat to continue showed up. Our call to your office told us that the boats no longer stopped there but for some reason they let us off at the large windmill dock. We then walked to the Hermitage museum and had to pay extra to see the Van Gogh paintings.
    Will not recommend your tour again.

    As it was raining we stayed on the boat for a full trip. Halfway through we had a changeover of drivers. Our young woman driver negotiated brilliantly through narrow spaces and as well as the recorded commentary she gave some interesting asides.
    Our only criticism: there should be clearer markings on each landing jetty as to which boats you can pick up and also an indication of where to find the jetty.We were never told that we had to change the paper voucher for tickets at the Rijksmuseum station. Anon
