We are not artsy people but do not miss this museum! Get the headsets. You will have a choice to do a fast tour. We were short on time and saw the entire museum in an hour. Learned a lot and really enjoyed the experience. Our entry time was 9:15 but they let you enter with the 9am group. Go EARLY...

This is a great museum with not only works of Van Gogh, but other artists of his time as well. I chose to visit the Museum on a Sunday. I bought my voucher on Viator, but I still had to wait in two queue's to get into the museum. This place is very busy, so plan to visit early in the morning if possible. It is for sure worth the 25 for the ticket. The gift shop is also very good if not a bit pricey.

We enjoyed the museum very much. However, although we had tickets in advance getting in was a bit confusing since there were several lines. Having the advance tickets did not preclude having to stand in line for 15 or 20 minutes. The photography prohibition was disappointingThe Rijksmuseum had no such restriction---other than no flash and no tripod.

It was a little confusing getting the ticket for the museum--it would have helped to have some instructions along with the ticket when I purchased it. Other than that, the museum was excellent and I'd recommend it as a 'must see' when you are in Amsterdam!

Van Gogh museum was extremely interesting but too much for 1 day. We saw the most famous of his art work. It was good to have a voucher as we were put in a separate line up and only waited 10 minutes as opposed to people who had no voucher or ticket, waited up to 3 hours. I advise anyone going to Amsterdam to buy advance vouchers/tickets, online due to massive wait times for the most popular attractions. Some of the people from our boat trip could not see sights they wanted to due to long, long lineups.
