Your short break also includes the High Mountain Passes Spectacular Tour. This tour focuses around the Western Lake District and is certainly an adventure! Over the Wrynose and Hardknott passes, the steepest in England we stop to view the extraordinary remains of Hardknott Roman Fort 1000 ft up on the fells.You have the opportunity to walk through the fort and see the spectacular view to Upper Eskdale, Scafell and Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountains.
We embark on the famous miniature Ravenglass and Eskdale railway before a lunch stop at a traditional country inn. In the afternoon we drive onward to ‘Britain’s Favourite View’, Wastwater ; England’s deepest and most dramatic lake. Our final destination is the splendid 14th Century Muncaster Castle surrounded by its internationally acclaimed gardens and famous for its World Owl Trust.
The beautiful scenery of the Coniston Fells and Coniston Water bring to an end this classic of all Lake District tours.行程概要出發地點

Absolutely amazing!! The place, the hotel, the tour, the tour guide....... I have no complaint but the trip was too short........... Would definetly do it again!!!! a five stars!!!

I wish I could have rated the tour and the hotel separately. The hotel was wonderful. The staff was very polite and attentive. The food at the award-winning restaurant inside the hotel was top notch.
The tour was a waste of time. We did not even stop at The Roman Fort, which was what we were looking forward to the most and the reason we took this tour (this even makes me angry when I think about it). WE COULD NOT EVEN SEE IT FROM A DISTANCE BECAUSE OF THE FOG. We were running behind schedule and the tour guide wanted to make sure we did not miss the train. The steam train ride was not very interesting. Muncaster Castle was only average. We paid the 3 GBP per person extra to go inside the castle. Only a small portion of it was opened to the public and it was not worth it. Moreover, no photos are allowed inside which makes it even more forgettable.
FYI- the reason we were running behind schedule was because the tour guide was suppose to pick us up from the train station when we arrived to go directly on the tour. However, the tour company sent us both a taxi to take us to the hotel and the tour guide. The taxi arrived first. We protested to the taxi driver and even had him drive down to the tour office and they even confirmed we were suppose to go with the taxi to the hotel. So in the meantime the tour guide along with his van full of tourists waited for us at the train station for 20 minutes while we were waiting at the hotel. Finally they had to get another taxi to drive us to the tour van. -
Very disappointed paid for a three day tour and only received 1 day as the tour operator forgot to pick me up on two occasions I will not be using your service again
