Day 1: London Stratford-upon-Avon Ironbridge Gorge Chester
Board your coach at Victoria in central London, and then travel northwest out of the capital to Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of England’s revered 16th-century playwright, William Shakespeare. Arrive in the pretty market town in time for lunch (own expense), enjoy some free time to explore, and then continue to nearby Ironbridge Gorge.
Formed by the River Severn in the last ice age, the deep and dramatic gorge is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy a stroll around the river to learn how the gorge was created and admire the famous Iron Bridge — the first of its kind — that straddles it.
In the late afternoon, travel further west to the historical town of Chester near the Welsh borders. The town is your base for the night, so, check in to your hotel on arrival, and then spend your evening at leisure.
Overnight: 3-star guesthouse or hotel in central Chester
Day 2: Shrewsbury North Wales Chester (B)
Enjoy breakfast, check out of your hotel, and then meet your guide for a day of exploring north Wales. Leave town and travel through the gorgeous green valleys that embody the Welsh landscape, and then pay a visit to Conwy Castle. Frequently cited as the most impressive Welsh castle, the fairy tale fortress boasts eight formidable-looking towers and a high curtain wall that links them together.
After paying your entrance fee, head inside to explore the castle’s ruins with your guide. Hear how the fortress dates back to medieval times, when it was built for King Edward I, and wander amid the old hall, chambers and kitchen while imagining the castle in its royal heyday.
Stop for lunch in Conwy town (own expense), and travel through Snowdonia National Park, a wild and remote region that’s known for its beauty. Home to Snowdon (the highest mountain in England and Wales), the national park is typified by mist-shrouded mountains, moorland and rocky peaks. Enjoy several stops as you travel through to stretch your legs on strolls or take photos of the glorious views.
Continue by coach to the medieval city of Chester, and then spend your evening doing whatever you please.
Overnight: 3-star guesthouse or hotel in central Chester
Day 3: Chester Peak District Lincoln (B)
Check out of your hotel after breakfast, and then travel east to the Peak District, the UK’s first national park. Stretching across Cheshire and north Derbyshire, the area is stunning to see with acres of green moorland, limestone villages and the low-rising hills of the Pennines. Your first stop is Castleton, one of the park’s prettiest villages, sat in the valley below Mam Tor mountain. Enjoy free time to look around the center, and shop for the local Blue John stone — a highly prized gem that has been mined in Castleton’s Blue John Mines for centuries.
After a break for lunch (own expense), continue south through the Peak District to Chatsworth, a beautiful country house estate owned by the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The grandiose house and grounds were used as filming locations in the BBC’s TV adaptation of Jane Austin’s Pride and Prejudice. Head inside to explore the house and gardens (own expense) and walk in the footsteps of the dashing Mr Darcy himself.
From Chatsworth, leave the Peak District, and travel north to the county of Lincolnshire. Your day’s final destination is the county capital of Lincoln: your base for your final night. Check in to your hotel in the early evening, and perhaps head into town for dinner and drinks (own expense).
Overnight: 3-star guesthouse or hotel in Lincoln
Day 4: Lincoln Cambridge London (B)
Check out of your hotel after breakfast, and then head into the city to discover its rich history that dates back to the Romans. Pay a visit to either Lincoln Cathedral — once the tallest building in the world — or Lincoln Castle, a fortress built by William the Conqueror in the 11th century.
After lunch in town (own expense), leave Lincoln and travel south to Cambridge, one of the world’s most prestigious university cities. Enjoy a final walking tour with your guide, seeing some of the top Cambridge attractions and landmarks, and hear tales about the city’s history. Stop for photos outside famous King’s College, browse Cambridge’s array of independent shops.
Finally, return to London, and then finish your 4-day tour with a drop-off at the Victoria start point in the early evening.飯店接送

Our itinerary was wonderful. Barney, the guide, also did a great job, was lots of fun and helped develop cohesion in the group. The hotels booked for us were charming and better than I expected. Only complaint, we were taken to the venues and dropped off and picked up, given a little information on the sites, but not given guided tours. I did expect that at least at some sites there would be guided tours. But that did not happen. I would recommend this tour however. We saw so much and had fun doing it.

We thought my sister had booked the Cotswolds trip so we were a bit disappointed at first. But with our very effervescent tour and bus driver Barney we had a great trip. Always on time and cometary very very good.I rate him 9.
-
Great locations, very knowledgeable and interesting guide. but accommodations were less than satisfactory...too too far out of town and not to standard promoted .
-
Great tour, especially the day in north Wales. Kevin, our guide, was terrific. Our only comment was it was not long enough. We would have loved more time in Lincoln and Cambridge. The accommodation was terrific and while we were busy, we were never stressed. I would highly recommend.

have read so much about the small group tour and so we booked ourselves to join this new tour. was pleasantly surprised that there was only three of us in the first class minivan. our driver/guide Kevin was very knowledgeable and drove us very safely. he gave us time to explore and even drove along very scenic spots which i think a big bus wouldnt be able to go through. the places visited each had its own charm my only complaint is that there's not enough time in wales where you get to visit conwy castle. there's so much more to see but i guess we have to leave after an hour and a half to visit next destination. you get to go to 3 various places where you stop each day. we were able to see a lot in the limited time but had to sacrifice lunch and just eat sandwiches/fruits at the van. overall had a great time would recommend Rabbie's which is the operator of these small group tours,
