Board your air-conditioned coach in central London, and then travel west out of the capital to Bath. Named and famed for its historical hot springs, the elegant city has been a popular destination since Roman times. Follow your guide on a walking tour around the center, and see the UNESCO-listed Roman Baths that were built some 2,000 years ago, as well as the famous Royal Crescent, Pulteney Bridge, Bath Abbey and more.
After exploring Bath, enjoy lunch in what might be a traditional English pub (own expense), and then travel to Salisbury Cathedral. Dating back to the 13th century, the place of worship showcases one of the tallest spires in Britain and a rare original copy of the Magna Carta. Learn how the medieval document, signed by King John, paved the foundations for civil rights in Britain and other countries around the world.
Following your cathedral visit, travel onward to Stonehenge. The UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the world’s most famous prehistoric landmarks, dating back some 5,000 years ago. The circle is composed of heavy Welsh stones that would have been nearly impossible to transport at the time it was supposedly constructed.
Begin with an introduction to the mysteries and theories surrounding how the rare rocks got there inside the state-of-the-art Stonehenge visitor center. Take in tales and trivia about the site from a private Stonehenge guide. Then, proceed to the iconic circle to stroll around and pose for some all-important photos. The stones are roped off from the crowds for preservation, but a footpath around the outside of the circle lends itself to clear and close-up views.

I might have wanted a little more time in Bath, but for someone who wants to see these landmarks and is short on time, this tour is a great taste of all three. Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable, and clearly enjoys relating the history, and as an added bonus, gave us tips for seeing the sights in London as we were driving through.

For people like me what want to see a lot in one day, this is a great tour. Lucy was an excellent tour guide with archeology background (a perfect guide for Stonehenge introduction). Be ready to leave your hotel around 7:30 am and come back around past 8 pm.

I cannot rate this tour since the operator changed the tour at the last minute and put us on a 75 person tour (we were supposed to be in a group under 20) that went to four locations and was an exausting route march. Every place we went, either for entry or a lunch, complained that the tour was too big and the poor guide was left apologizing - it certainly was not her fault. I signed up for a small group tour with a champagne reception at Stonehenge. This is NOT what I got.

Its a lot in one day, but if you are short on time its great. If you do the Bath walking tour you wont have time to go to see the roman baths, so keep that in mind. Lacock was beautiful but the pre-ordered pub lunch was 20 minutes late, which is a long time because it is only an hour stop. My recommendation would be to pack a lunch. Also the amount oif time left to see Stonehenge is dependent on everyone getting back to the bus on time. Keep in mind though there is hotel pickup you will need to find your own way back, the tour guide was very helpful. All and all a great way to see a lot in one day but it is rushed.
