You’ll be picked up from your London hotel in the morning on the day after Christmas, known as Boxing Day. This day trip lets you escape the hectic Boxing Day shopping crowds and instead immerse yourself in the beauty, history and culture of England.Admire the scenery as you travel by air-conditioned coach through the lovely English countryside dusted in snow. Passing through Greenwich, learn about the interesting maritime history of this district as you see the National Maritime Museum, the Royal Naval College and the Old Royal Observatory, continue to Leeds.Arrive at Leeds Castle on the River Len. This royal 12th-century castle is set in the middle of a natural lake and surrounded by 500 acres (200 hectares) of parkland and gardens. You will immediately understand why Lord Conway described this as the "loveliest castle in the world." Take a guided walking tour of the castle while learning about its long royal history from your guide.After your tour, you'll have free time to wander the castle grounds on your own. Visit the aviary and explore the Lady Baillie Garden, affording wonderful views over the lake.Leaving Leeds Castle behind, continue 45 minutes east to Canterbury, arriving at the Panteli's of Canterbury restaurant to relax with your fellow travelers over a classic English lunch of fish and chips. After lunch, you'll head to Canterbury Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and important symbol of the Anglican faith throughout the world.As you'll learn on your guided walking tour, Canterbury Cathedral was founded in 597 and completely rebuilt in 1070. It's one of the oldest and most famous Christian churches in England. You will be amazed by Canterbury Cathedral's stunning architecture and fascinating history.The final stop on your Boxing Day tour is Dover, located on the coast along the English Channel. Here, enjoy the fresh sea breeze as you admire the stunning White Cliffs of Dover and Dover Castle.The White Cliffs of Dover are white chalk cliffs overlooking the coastline and busy harbor, and mark a significant symbol for Englanders, as you'll learn from your guide. You'll also see Dover Castle, one of the largest castles in England. This stunning medieval castle has been described as the 'Key to England' due to its defensive significance throughout history.After soaking up the views, it's time to make the 1.5-hour journey back to London, where your Boxing Day tour ends.行程概要出發地點

Amazing tour. Your guide is very knowledgeable. We had the best fish and chips in Canterbury.

A wonderful experience. Both the guide and the driver were excellent and went out of their way to make the day a very memorable one. Leeds castle is spectacular: the grounds and the buildings are so beautiful. There are no words for Canterbury Cathedral....the stained glass windows and architecture are magnificent.
How many have been fortunate enough to see France from Dover? Even our lunch was great. -
It was a good experience. The castles were great, and so was the Canterbury church. Make sure to have good walking shoes. Tour guide was okay, but did not give much or a tour...it seemed more independent. But worth doing.
