This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Stonehenge, Amesbury, Wiltshire, England
Leave your central London or Heathrow hotel by luxury coach and relax on the journey west, passing through London’s busy urban metropolis and into the peaceful Wiltshire countryside.
While traveling, your tour manager will give you some insights into Wiltshire’s most intriguing relic Stonehenge and explain a few of the theories about the building of this Megalithic stone circle.
After traveling for roughly 1.5 hours, arrive at Stonehenge and spend time exploring this incredible site independently. While strolling around this UNESCO World Heritage Site, ponder the tales your tour manager told you earlier, and make up your own mind about how and why it came to stand. Was it built as an astrological observatory, or was it perhaps intended as a sacred burial place? How did the gigantic Sarsen stones get to the site when no machinery existed to transport them?
At the pre-arranged time, meet your tour manager back on the coach and then relax on the journey to Southampton on England’s coast. Your guide will drop you off right outside Southampton cruise terminal in time for your cruise.

This tour was amazing. We got to see different sites of the the London area that we wouldnt have normally seen. Of course Stonehenge was breathtaking and overwhelming. I highly recommend the audio tour with it as well. Definitely worth the time before our cruise.

We were picked up at the hotel by a minivan on time by a friendly chauffeur, and later transferred to a larger bus. To my surprise neither the driver or his not so friendly helper introduced them selves or even said hello/good morning. It took another couple of hours to pick the rest of the tourist from the airport and hotels. I didn't mind, because it gave us an opportunity to see some more of the beautiful city of London. I had some question about some buildings on the way, but I was told it wasn't a guided tour. Due to the delay by heavy traffic we all requested to cut the tour of the Stonehenge by 30 min from 90 to 60,but it was not a good idea. You really need at list 90 minutes to comfortable go through all exhibits. We were dropped at the cruise ship on time.

The tour was great, however, there was a lack of coordination regarding pick up from our hotel to the meeting point for the coach

The tour bus is too big to get around some of the narrow London streets so a van picked us up at our hotel along with other guests from other hotels and took us to the tour bus which was very comfortable. We had a quick stop at a lovely reststop with restrooms and food and snacks. We went to Stonehenge. Arrived there and there is shuttle which takes you closer, there is still a walk but it is worth it and there are benches along the way to stop and rest. They have a lovely gift shop which takes pounds as their currency or credit cards. We had enough time to see everything and an audio tour came with it. We arrived at our ship, the driver dropped off our bags and we were onboard and ready for our cruise. A great way to get there.

Loved our pre-cruise tour! We were picked up at our hotel and arrived at our ship with plenty of time to spare. Stonehenge was awesome and we had plenty of time to explore the stones and visitor's center. Great start to our trip!

Great way to get to your ship from London. Get to see the English countryside and the fantastic Stonehenge before heading into Southampton.

The driver Curacao Paul arrived promptly at our hotel. We then went about 10 minutes to pick up another pair and continued on to pick up a third pair. During the pickup time, he showed us what seemed like a huge number of sights that no one else had pointed out including Benny Hill's house, JFK's young adult residence, the best view we had of Buckingham Palace with no visitors at all to spoil the picture. Throughout the drive to Stonehenge he told us a large number of anecdotes of historical and sightseeing tidbits. Stonehenge itself was as expected but awesome when you started to think of its age. He got us there so early there were few tourists. By the time we left 1 hour later it was starting to fill up. Paul then took us on a countryside tour thru beautiful country roads including showing us Sting's house which is gorgeous but simple. We were so early for our ship that a couple of us asked him to take us to a pub, but unfortunately the authentic thatch roofed pub he took us to was closed that day interesting note: a lot of places are closed on Tuesday in Europe. However he did take us to a little pond that was a very pleasant experience and a great photo op. Overall it was an unexpectedly pleasurable trip to the port of Southampton, even making friends with the other passengers whom we are looking forward to seeing again in the future. Thank you Paul! Paul is from Grand Turk but has a plaque in his car that says Curacao Paul because he couldn't find one that said Grand Turk.

Was so glad we stopped at Stonehenge on way to cruise port. Weather was not good... rain and high winds, but still glad we went. Driver was late on pick up and didn't identify herself when entering hotel causing some anxiety, but all worked out.

Great! We were able to do the excursion before going on the ship. Made very good use of the time we had in London
