After meeting your tour guide near Borough Market, set off on foot around Bankside to learn about the locally sourced food scene and the incredible food hero’s that make this happen. The first stop brings you to an unmarked building and a few flights of stairs to reach the hidden roof top cafe. Dive into a hearty, seasonal breakfast served with coffee or tea and enjoy the breath taking view of the surrounding iconic London buildings.
Stroll back in time while you visit the herb garret and surrounding area. Then head back into the market after exploring the back streets where the coaching inns use to be. Next, sample British sourced charcuterie and cheese produced by a Swiss family with recipes dating back many generations. Chocolate lovers will delight when visiting the much loved Rabot 1745 and receive an education on Fair-trade chocolate from bean to bar! With delectable hot chocolate and samples.
Than enjoy a leisurely wander towards Winchester Palace and learn about the amazing open bankside trust projects. Climb the Nancy Drew steps featured in the Oliver Twist movie and onto the historic Barrow Boy and Banker pub known for it's Ale and Pies. Experience a tasty helping of classic British pie and chips locally sourced from near by Farms. Head towards the Hop Exchange and discover an ancient burial ground, a hundred year old garden built on an old paper factory, through an Urban Forest and toward the final food stop.

I found this tour to be very underwhelming. I had been on another food tour while I was in Rome, and it was fabulous ... plenty of stops at local places, and the food was great. We certainly started with a nice breakfast on the rooftop, stopped at a few vendors in the market, and then we had lunch and gelato at the end. If we climbed the Nancy Drew stairs, I don't recall it ... or maybe I had already lost interest. I know when I booked this tour several weeks ago, I paid 95.32 and now it seems to be advertised at 79.29. Overall the day was beautiful and the tour guide was enthusiastic, but the tour lacked luster.
