London's Kensington Palace has been a royal home for over 300 years, and parts of the palace still remain a private residence for members of the Royal Family today. Following a major renovation project, the palace now unveils many secret stories of past royal figures, painting Kensington Palace as the setting for many noteworthy events and dramas in royal history. Make your way through the spectacular King’s and Queen’s State Apartments, adorned with paintings from the Royal Collection, and stroll through the Kensington Palace Gardens at your leisure.
Explore the permanent exhibition, ‘Victoria Revealed,’ which is set within the rooms where Victoria grew up. Queen Victoria was born in the palace, and it was here that she learned she had become queen at just 18 years of age. She also held her first Privy Council meeting in Kensington Palace’s Red Saloon. Inspired by her own journals and featuring displays of personal objects, ‘Victoria Revealed’ gives an intimate account of Queen Victoria, exploring her life and reign through her own words.

No line the day i went so it was very easy getting in. No fast track needed but glad I had it just in case

Enjoyed all the exhibits, especially all the information about Queen Victoria. There is a person in each room and one young gentleman who was in the dining room where you can actually sit at the table! shared a lot of great information about Victoria and how she became Queen. The nice thing about this tour was that there was no specific entrance time, so we were able to arrive when it suited us best. Luckily there was absolutely no line when we went there on a Tuesday around noon time. Very enjoyable.

Very straightforward and easy to pickup our tickets. We toured on our own and staff was readily available to answer questions. My daughter loved Princess Diana's fashion section which was a collection of our wardrobe pieces. The surrounding gardens and nearby pond were beautiful!

Hyde park in front is good to walk and spend afternoon. Palace is ok but not more than 45 minutes.

We enjoyed this do it yourself tour. We pre-purchased the tickets so that we could budget our stay in London so we didn't have to come up with cash or CC to purchase the tickets.

Loved thoroughly the palace and garden

We love to go at our own pace, so this was the perfect way to see Victoria's childhood home.
