Meet your guide in central Seville and set off on your 3-hour tour of Seville, walking through the historical center. As you explore the maze of twisting streets and bustling squares, your guide will bring the city’s history to life, explaining Seville’s former occupations and well-known citizens. The Roman Empire and Moorish occupation each influenced the city as its stands today, and you’ll see relics from both periods throughout your tour.
Pass the UNESCO-listed General Archive of the Indies, which houses archived documents of the Spanish Empire in the Americas, and then see the Church of El Salvador and the Golden Tower (Torre del Oro), two iconic city landmarks.
Walk to the Royal Tobacco Factory ─ the fictional workplace of the heroine in Bizet’s famous Carmen opera ─ and then hear tales of Christopher Columbus, who left from Seville when he set out to conquer the New World. Listen to stories about his life from your guide as you visit a boat yard where ships from his time were made.
After two hours of walking, hop aboard an eco-friendly electric boat to start your 1-hour cruise along the Guadalquivir River. Sit back and relax as your guide explains some of top Seville attractions as you pass alongside them on the cruise. Highlights include the Expo'92 area and the main attractions you will find in the way like Expo'92 area and the Castle of S o Jorge. Just the right amount of time but extremely interesting . The local guide was very passionate and knowledgeable about the city. The boat trip at the end was just nice and chilling after walking in the heat for two hours.

We really enjoyed this walking tour. We had Penelope as our guide and she was so good. She is Spanish but her English was excellent and her knowledge of Seville and the history was brilliant. Seville is so beautiful and it was great that Penelope took us to areas and buildings that are not on the tourist maps. The area and pace of the tour was perfect. Would recommend this.

We really enjoyed this walking tour - our guide was terrific and had lots of knowledge to share with us. She showed us some very interesting things that we wouldn't have noticed on our own and even if we did, wouldn't have understood their meaning. It is well worth it.

Really good guide Penelope? who took a lot of trouble to show, explain and tell stories about historic parts of the city. The additional hour on the river was a good decision...small but smart boat...good skipper and again interesting stories about the canal banks and the canal itself.

This is a must do tour if you are interested in finding out about some of the history of Seville. Penolope our tour guide was a passionate and enthusiastic guide who loves her city of Seville. She also had a good sense of humour that she used effectively to engage the small group in the tour.
