Former Jewish section of the city called Santa Cruz and nowadays one of the most romantic quarters in Spain thanks to the myth of Don Juan.

Stop At: Real Alcazar, Seville, Province of Seville, Andalucia
Alcazar was the old arabic palace of Sevilla. Nowadays is the Royal Residence of the Kings of Spain in the city. Movies like Laurence of Arabia and Games of Thrones were made here. Very nice gardens inside.

Stop At: Torre Giralda, Seville, Province of Seville, Andalucia
Giralda is the symbol of Sevilla, it is the bell towel of the Cathedral and former minaret of the ancient mosque.
You will have the possibility at the end of the tour to climb up.

We had a great tour of the key sites in Seville. Our guide (Carlos) was vey knowledgeable and entertaining. Would recommend this tour to anyone who visits.

Our guide Diana, made this one of the best tours we have taken!
We met the guide at La Giralda, the bell tower for the cathedral in Sevilla. From there we proceeded to the Alc□zar Real, the royal palace. Even though much of the coloring of the intricate Moorish decorations has faded over the centuries, what remains is beautiful. The Moorish tiles still retain their vibrant colors and complex geometric designs. This building's earlier sumptuous decoration dominates throughout the tour, and Diana provided context and made the building come to life.
From the palace, we moved to the palace gardens, the lush plantings of which still are maintained. They are beautiful!
Next came the pi□ce de r□sistance of this tour -- the cathedral. The tour started in a large tree-filled courtyard which once had been the entrance court of a Moorish mosque. From there we entered the cathedral, which is enormous and quite imposing. Our guide, Diana, led us through the building, breaking this massive structure into manageable pieces before bringing the whole back together again. The main altar of he cathedral is awe-inspiring. The cathedral also houses the remains of Christopher Columbus what little of him remains!.
After the tour, we were left in the cathedral so we could continue looking about on our own, which we did until closing time. There is a lot to see!
Climbing La Giralda, the mosque's minaret which had been converted into a bell tower, is not included in the tour, but is something one should do once the tour is completed, and before leaving the cathedral. Climbing the tower is fairly easy, as there are ramps, not stairs, so that horses could be used to ascend the tower in earlier days.
This tour is a must if one is in Sevilla!

We had a wonderful experience on this private tour of Allcazar and the old Jewish quarters. Our guide, Estella was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about the history of this whole area. She gave us many interesting historic facts as well as human interest antidotes about the area going back to the Moors and Muslim influence.She also gave us a lot of background on the history of Spain and the relationship between the Catholic Church, the Jews and Muslims over the centuries..The castle complex was beautiful and the 12th century architecture amazing. We left her feeling as though we 'd learned so much and made a new friend.

We booked this tour when we read the good reviews of Antonio. However, we were not guided by Antonio but his colleague. It was not professional as we were not informed beforehand that the guide would not be him! The tour was a disappointment. Her English was limited and it only lasted 2 hours!
