Meet your expert culinary guide in central San Sebasti□n, just a 5-minute walk from Parte Vieja, the Old Town and culinary heart of the city. Begin your 4-hour experience with a visit to the local market where, with the help of your guide, you will select the high quality ingredients required for your lesson.
Next, head to a modern cooking school, where your cooking class takes place. Inside the venue, receive hands-on instruction from an expert Basque chef and discover the secrets behind several local recipes.
After your class, sit down with your group and enjoy the wonderful food, cooked with your newly acquired Basque cooking skills. In true Basque style, wine is paired with select dishes! At the end of your meal, receive a recipe card so that you can treat your friends and family to a Basque feast back at home.
Choose from two different cooking class options when booking:
Pintxos Cooking Class:
San Sebasti□n is famous for its pintxos, the Basque version of tapas. Smaller than traditional tapas and beautifully prepared in bite-sized pieces, pintxos are often served on small pieces of bread and held together with toothpicks. Create seven different pintxos, from the traditional classics to more experimental, modern recipes.
Basque Cooking Class:
Focusing on fresh, well-prepared dishes that are created using local, seasonal ingredients and prepared to enhance not mask the natural flavor of the food, Basque cuisine is like no other cuisine in the world. This class offers a winning combination of pintxos and one Basque main course. Master three or four pintxos recipes, before trying your hand at creating a traditional fish main course (dependent on season).行程概要出發地點

Ellie our guide was fantastic! She showed us around local food markets explaining all sorts of intricate, exotic foods and information. Then went to a private members club to prepare and cook some authentic Pintxos, matched with local wines. A great day getting into the food culture of San Sebastian!

We had a great day. The staff at San Sebastian Food were lovely, and very helpful, which created a friendly atmosphere amongst the participants. The food was delicious and we left with lots of new ideas.

Our guide, Lourdes, was WONDERFUL. She taught us a bit about San Sebastian as we walked to the market, then to the gastronomic society. She did a lovely job interpreting for our chef, though just through his gestures alone, he did a fine job communicating with us, as well.
The three of us had a fantastic time shopping for food, then making it, then finally sitting around the table with Lourdes laughing and enjoying the delicious meal we had all made together.
We would HIGHLY recommend this tour.
