While similar to traditional Spanish tapas, pintxos are smaller and are often served on a small piece of bread with a toothpick pierced through the middle. These beautifully prepared, bite-sized morsels are a Basque Country specialty, and best when paired with a refreshing glass of wine or cider.
Navigate your way through the bustling streets of the Old Town with your guide. Walking through Parte Vieja in the evening is a real feast for the senses, with bar after bar bursting with hot and cold pintxos and the smell of rich meats and fresh fish rising in the air. Follow your guide as you weave through the crowds to visit six of the most interesting pintxos venues in San Sebasti□n, from traditional haunts to chic modern Basque bars.
Your guide picks a selection of the most exquisitely prepared and delicious pintxos, each paired with a drink of wine or cider, for you and your group to try. From fresh prawns and wild-caught squid to succulent veal and pork tenderloin, Basque food is bursting with delicate flavors that dance on your tongue!

This is an amazing experience that you could never do the same way on your own! Ten of us were taken to 6 different restaurants by a knowledgeable, hospitable guide who then brought out platters of different pintxos at each place and bottles of compatible wines. We ate outdoors, enjoyed each others company, and tasted foods we wouldnt have otherwise - all beautiful and delicious. Our 16 year old granddaughter loved this experience too! The guide Iniago made everyone feel welcome and involved. Special requests were also honored! This was clearly the highlight of San Sebastian for all of us!

So much fun!!! This was one of the best decisions we made...not going on our own but with someone well known, respected and knowledgeable! Lourdes was our guide and she knew just where the locals go to get the real thing! The pintxos were out of this world and the different types of wine were anything from fun to lovely. We were with a small group which made it all the more fun. Highly recommend Lourdes and this tour!
