Meet your guide in central Palma de Mallorca to begin your morning or afternoon tour. Put on your helmet and then pedal your way through the streets. The pace is leisurely, allowing you to listen to your guide and take in the sights as you cycle.
Follow a bicycle path to the old harbor, and then pass along the waterfront and through the maze-like streets of Palma de Mallorca Old Town. Admire historical buildings such as the Basilica of St Francesco, cut through Parc de la Mar, and pedal alongside the old city walls.
After listening to stories about the city’s history, stop by Palma Cathedral (La Seu) and spend a few moments snapping photos. Hear how the cathedral was built on the site of an old Arab mosque, and learn about Antoni Gaudi ─ the Modernist architect responsible for many of the cathedral’s interior features.
Continue along the sun-kissed coast, past the former fishing villages of Es Molinar and Portixol, before reaching Ciudad Jard□n beach. Collect your kayak, change into your bathing suit, don your lifejacket, and then listen to a safety briefing before heading into the water.
Once inside your kayak, follow your instructor-guide and paddle away into the water! Keeping close to the coast of Palma Bay, make your way toward Cala Estancia and admire the gorgeous island scenery.
As you paddle, watch Palma Bay’s metropolitan sights give way to pristine, sandy beaches. Half way through your route, break to hydrate with a soft drink or bottled water and perhaps jump in for a revitalizing swim before continuing down the shoreline.
After making your way to Cala Estancia and back again, step back onto dry land at Ciudad Jard□n beach, change your clothes and hand your equipment back. Feeling invigorated from your kayaking experience, jump back on your bike and cycle along the coastline back to central Palma de Mallorca where your experience then finishes.行程概要出發地點
