Day 1: Malaga to Fez (D)
After boarding your coach in central Malaga, travel to the coast, and then cross the Strait of Gibraltar by ferry to Morocco. Swap to a coach and travel onward to Fez, a city often cited as the spiritual and cultural center of Morocco, and your base for the next two nights. Check in to your hotel in time for dinner, and relax overnight.
Overnight: Tourist Class: Menzeh Zalah or Volubilis
Day 2: Fez (B, D)
Enjoy breakfast before heading out for your tour of Fez, a city renowned for its Imperial splendor. From the comfort of your coach, admire sights such as Fez Royal Palace, the Christian and Jewish quarters, and the enchanting medina: the city’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed stunner. Entertaining commentary from your onboard guide helps to bring each of the incredible Fez sights to life as you explore.
Spend the afternoon at your leisure. Perhaps explore the charming warren of streets and steps that make up the medina, or wander amid colorfully chaotic market stalls in the souks. Dinner and accommodation at hotel. Optional dinner with show.
Overnight: Tourist Class: Menzeh Zalah or Volubilis
Day 3: Fez Meknes Marrakech (B, D)
Savor breakfast in your hotel, and then relax on your short coach ride to Meknes, a gem of a city, not far from Fez. See its highlights on a whistle-stop coach tour of the sprawling central districts, and take in its impressive Imperial fortifications like Mansour Gate as well as several palaces, mosques, gardens and lakes.
Relax during a lunch stop (own expense), and travel onward to Marrakech via the city of Beni Mellal, nestled in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Check in to your hotel in time for dinner and relax overnight at your leisure.
Overnight: 3-star Atlas Asni or Golden Tulip or 4-star Atlas Medina or Kenzi Farah in Marrakech
Day 4: Marrakech (B, D)
After breakfast, head out to see the city of Marrakech by both coach and foot. Overlooked by the snowcapped High Atlas Mountains, Morocco’s cultural capital is home to fortune-tellers, snake charmers, towers, tombs and garden oases. Soak it all up as you explore with your guide and pose for photos by impressive sights such as Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace and the bustling Djemaa el Fna. Translated as ‘place of the dead,’ the square represents the heart of Marrakech Old Town, and is a site widely lauded as one of the world’s greatest meeting places. See acrobats tumble, traders wander and dancers perform as locals stroll and visitors stand and stare.
Spend the afternoon at your leisure. Dinner and accommodation at hotel. Optional dinner with show. (own expense)
Overnight: 3-star Atlas Asni or Golden Tulip or 4-star Atlas Medina or Kenzi Farah in Marrakech
Day 5: Marrakech Casablanca Rabat (B, D)
Following breakfast, wave goodbye to Marrakech and travel north to Casablanca, Morocco’s business capital and the city forever linked with the names Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. After roughly 2.5 hours on the road, arrive in the city and see its sights during a short coach tour.
Pass Hassan II Mosque with its sky-piercing minarets, learn about the history of Casablanca’s labyrinthine medina, and admire the grandiose French-style architecture that abounds in Mohammed V Square. After a quick break for lunch, relax on the journey to Rabat, the country’s capital, where dinner at your hotel awaits.
Overnight:Tourist Class & First Class: Farah Rabat
Day 6: Rabat Tangier (B, D)
Follow breakfast with a coach tour of Rabat, and discover its coastal sights as well as its beguiling Islamic and European architecture. On your city tour, look out for famous monuments such as the Mohammed V Mausoleum and Hassan Tower. Then, travel via the harbor town of Larache to Tangier by coach.
Stop for lunch (own expense), and enjoy your second coach tour of the day, this time of Tangier, the cosmopolitan coastal city that basks on the peripheries of the Med and Atlantic. Gaze out of your coach window to admire the palm-fringed beaches, mosques and shopping souks ─ all framed by the wind-whipped Rif mountain range ─ and learn a little about Tangier’s colonial history from your guide. After getting your bearings, finish with a drop-off at your hotel and relax over your tour’s final dinner.
Overnight: Tourist Class: Hilton or Solazur and First Class : Royal Tulip
Day 7: Tangier Malaga (B)
Wake up to a relaxing breakfast in your hotel, and enjoy a morning of free time in Tangier to shop and soak up the sunny sights. Meet your guide at the prearranged time, check out of your hotel, and then travel back across the Strait of Gibraltar to Spain and Malaga. Your 6-night tour then finishes at the start point in the early evening.

Good Altinary and great tour guide
-
We had a most enjoyable trip. Our Host was very good and the bus driver was excellent. The choice of hotels was very good. It was an interesting trip and we saw the key areas of Morocco.

This tour was worth doing and we saw many interesting sights but the organisation could have been better.
Had I known that there were more than one pick-up point, I would have joined the tour in Marbella and not in Malaga and spent hours travelling in the bus from pick-up point to pick-up point.
As I had booked on and English speaking guided tour, I had assumed that commentary would be in English and I was thus disappointed that about 80 of the touring party was Spanish speaking and that about that percentage of all commentary by the guide on the bus was in Spanish, with a sentence in English every now and then. Luckily during the city tours the group was split into English and Spanish speaking people and we had dedicated English speaking local guides.
The 3 star accommodation was very good with beautiful and comfortable rooms and good meals.
The bus driver did a fantastic job on the sometimes narrow and winding roads.
There were a few deviations from the published program which were unfortunate. The en-route panoramic tour of Casablanca turned into a 5 hour tour, visiting everything I had seen a 2 weeks before during a cruise visit to Casablanca. I would rather have spent more of the time in Rabat. The panoramic tour of Tangier did not happen.
The 90 minute coffee and meal stops at filling stations en route could be cut far shorter to give more time at the various destinations.
Overall we enjoyed the tour. -
The tour provided a good overview of Morocco, though too much time was spent in busses. I thought the first restaurant stop in larache was awful as the restaurant couldn't cater for two tourist busses so we left without finishing our meal.
The first 5*hotel wasn't even 2*. The last was excellent. -
Great.
