Meet your guide near Plaza de la Constituci□n in central Malaga, and then stroll to your first tapas bar of the afternoon. As you walk, your guide will chat to you about Spanish cuisine and of the surge in popularity for tapas in restaurants all over the world. While the best place to eat tapas is a subject of strong debate, Malaga in the deep south of Andalucia is one of the best places to discover it.
Tapas bars in Malaga are often crowded, but that’s part of the fun! Vie for space with locals and follow the tapas etiquette of your guide: sharing, finger-using and trying everything in sight. Dishes served each afternoon will vary, but you can expect up to 15 dishes from three different bars.
Sample wafer-thin slices of jam□n and nibble on fresh sardines a Malaga specialty. Smack your lips on succulent prawns and mop up juicy tomatoes with hunks of fluffy bread. Each tapas stop includes a drink, and you’ll try famous brews like Victoria and San Miguel beers as well as moscatel dessert wine and Andalucia’s ubiquitous sherry wine.

Overall really good. Restaurants felt authentically Spanish and food and drinks were tasty and generous. Guide was knowledgeable and interesting. Didn't feel rushed along in any way and overall timing was just right for us. We would definitely use a Viator tour again.

Lucky us two Canadian couples to meet Katia spelling? lovely woman from Poland and a couple from Yorkshire, England for a fabulous evening of food, wine and laughter. We visited three different restaurants chosen by our Guide which presented us with lovely wines/beers and a vast variety of tapas. We enjoyed very much that our Guide chose the menu no repeat dishes and explained to us in detail the ingredients and preparation. Also, as we walked from venue to venue, she gave us details on the neighbourhood, Spanish celebrations and customs, and suggestions for other places to visit. Wonderful experience and highly recommended.

Wonderful experience , tapas was superb. Our Guide Catri not sure of spelling! was brilliant. She was very knowledgable about each dish and her choice of restaurant was excellent. Well done! The food was so good we went back to the first restaurant on the tour the next night.

Our guide did a good job showing us various restaurants and suggesting wines to drink. By the time we took the tour we'd already sampled tapas at several restaurants and found the food to be similar in most places. This tour is good for day-trippers.

Very enjoyable. Malaga doesnt have as many cool little local places as say, Seville, but given that, Pilar the guide took us to some nice places. Her food/wine selections we're good and she worked hard to explain local history/ food / culture and was very personable and interesting. Well worth cost

Excellent tour. While there were some minor hiccups at the start, the tour ended up on a high note. Very enjoyable evening with Adriano hope I spelt it right showing us the true local tapas delicacies giving us a some history of Malaga and the food we were consuming. We wish Adriano all the best with his new born.

We booked 6 tours for 4 people each with Viator on a trip to Spain and Portugal. 5 were very good.
The Malaga Tapas and Wine tour was very disappointing. The tour guide was from Poland and all she talked about was Poland.
She did not give us one bit of information about Malaga history, culture etc. She did not seem to know anything.
All she did was walk us to each Tapas and wine place and sat there.
She did not explain what the Tapas dishes were or anything about the traditions of the food.
We could have done the same 3 Tapas and wine stops ourselves for much less money than we paid for the tour. -
