This is the best tapas tour in Madrid as I did several! Pedro of Madrid Tapas Trip is a true Iberian ham and wine enthusiast. He KNOWS what he is talking about. Being with Pedro is better than all the other tours combined as he knows so much!!!!

Our guide, Pedro, provided not only an educational tour, but made it memorable and enjoyable! Our group of 6 had a blast learning about the different Spanish wine regions and ham. The tour was definitely worth the money and highly recommend joining in for a great lesson and some fun!

This was incredible! Pedro explained the process and background of Iberian ham, meats, cheese and olive oils. Of course the samples are paired with excellent wine choices.
The tour has two stops. The first is at a small restaurant where you sample a traditional Spanish stew. Pedro explains the traditions and history of the stew. He then has videos on an iPad of the entire Iberian ham story. A short walk later you arrive at the Iberian ham market where the Iberian ham, meats, cheese and olive oils are sampled. I left feeling full of knowledge and excellent food.
Pedro is passionate about his Iberian ham.

We had to change our date and Pedro said, no problem And there was no additional charge. We loved this afternoon. Relaxing, fun and learned about the Iberian ham tradition and wine regions of Spain. The sampling of one of the favorite dishes of Madrid was excellent. At the next stop at the Iberian ham shop we enjoyed wine, ham, cheeses and olive oil samples. All was terrific! My husband got to try his hand at slicing the ham. Pedro and the shop staff were great!
