Founded in 1903, the stadium was originally called Manzanares Stadium but changed its name to Vicente Calder□n after one of Atl□tico de Madrid’s much-respected presidents.
Walk around the pitch, the field where many international games are played, and visit the changing rooms where famous players like Tiago Mendes and Jorge Pulido get ready for games. As you walk, listen to your guide talking about the stadium and also about the football club itself. Hear of famous games and the team's loyal fans, who wear the club’s distinctive red-and-white striped shirts with pride.
Other highlights of your Vicente Calder□n Stadium tour include the press room, where journalists gather to get the gossip on games, and the VIP box where dignitaries sit. After 45 minutes exploring the stadium on your tour, bid your guide goodbye and then head inside the stadium museum.
Explore the large exhibition space at leisure, seeing an incredible array of football artifacts roughly 1,000 in total. Admire trophies, photographs, shirts and a collection of boots, and read up on the history of football in Spain. Old season tickets, flags and miniature model players make up more of the exciting soccer paraphernalia on display.

Over the many, many years that I have spent travelling the world I have seldom felt the need to provide feedback or reviews but I feel that I should on this particular occasion. The tour vouchers from Viator were issued for a day that the stadium was closed to tours which we obviously had no idea about at the time. When we arrived at the stadium, the staff were EXTREMELY rude, disinterested and unhelpful and blamed Viator. The result - one devastated 10-year old son who had been looking forward to the trip for weeks and made worse by the fact that one staff member admitted that she didnt care how disappointed he was. This whole saga wasted a considerable amount of valuable and limited time from our holiday particularly the Madrid part. We contacted Viator immediately after we returned to our Madrid hotel who claim that they have referred the matter to the local agent for their comments. That was several days ago and were still waiting for a response. In the meantime, weve continue to receive emails asking us to review completed tours and consider booing additional trips. Overall, Im struggling to find a reason to justify a single star. Best advice I can give is just dont bother!

The tour was excellent, great to see the history of the club and the facilities within the club. Recommended tour if you have the time.

The tour is a must do for any football fan, although not the best stadium ever visited it is nice to have another one ticked off the list!!

Unfortunately had just missed previous tour and had to wait but made most of time with some refreshments, actual tour, not much to see in museum and tour itself not what I expected, however, it was an experience. Would love to go again when the new stadium is open.

found this tour to be intersting , you get to look around the club museum ,and see all the trophies the club has won over the years, plus loads of memorabilia including sighed shirts from former players, old season tickets ETC.
after looking around the museum you are then given a guided tour off the ground including the changing rooms, and press rooms , while being told about the history off the club and ground , there are many good photo opportunities.
if you are a football fan and enjoy looking around football stadiums and club museums then you will enjoy this tour. -

That was shocking. Disgusting. 0 out of 10. You are joking arent you when you ask us to "upload" photos of our recent "trip" . We got inside the museum, took us 5 minutes to go around everything, then the 3 of us had to leave. Our afternoon, basically our whole holiday, was centered around doing ONE special football trip in the middle of the world cup, visiting a stadium, taking our time and lots of photos of our time inside a big famous clubs stadium, and this year we selected your company for the tour, and Atletico Madrid for the stadium and tour. and what happened? The stadium was completely closed! Because of an upcoming pop bands "concert" our whole football experience, our whole trip to Madrid, our whole stadium tour through your company, was non-existent. We could have gone anywhere in Europe with any company to any stadium but we used you, and the tour did not happen. 10 minutes in a museum was NOT what we planned or expected. My 13 year old Son was particularly dissapointed, as he loves Football and had been looking forward to a proper football experience, but it was denied us, and now, this year, we have no more time and no more holidays to see a stadium anywhere, so we paid you for something that really dissapointed us and basically never even happened for us, and as that was our central point for our holiday and everything else was booked in advance we have no more time to do anything else.Thank you.
