Start your hot-air balloon experience with a pickup from your centrally located Granada hotel, and then travel to the launch site, just a short distance outside of town. On arrival, watch your balloon inflate while listening to a quick safety briefing with your guide. Then, step inside your balloon’s basket and take to the skies with your pilot. Each basket comfortably holds up to 10 people, so there’s plenty of room for you to sightsee as you soar gently up and away.
Have your camera ready to capture dramatic views while gliding through the early morning skies. Soar above Granada’s Sacromonte neighborhood, where the city’s early gypsy community carved cave homes into the rocks, and then gaze in awe at the Alhambra. Set against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the pink-hued palace complex is magnificent to see as the sun rises, and the bird’s-eye view lets you appreciate the scale of the site.
Cruise above some of Granada’s top city sights such as the Albaic□n, a romantic-looking neighborhood typified by whitewashed houses and Moorish architecture. After roughly an hour in the air, listen to your pilot’s instructions for a smooth landing. Once back on the ground stroll to a nearby cafe to enjoy a hearty Andalucian breakfast. Meals change according to seasonality and what’s available on the day of your tour, but typical items on the menu include coffee, tea, chocolate, bread with tomatoes and olive oil, and orange juice.
Relax as you eat, and toast your group and pilot with your glass of Champagne; it’s the perfect way to celebrate your Granada hot-air balloon flight! Finish your experience with a drop-off at your Granada hotel.

We ended up flying from Guadix due to weather conditions. The flight was amazing with breathtaking views. The pilot was very skilled and experienced and support staff were good too. Definitely worth doing and celebratory breakfast after was fun. The firm emailed photos and videos afterwards as well.

A brilliant trip! In fact, the balloon ride was in Cordoba, not Granada... No matter: we were well-looked after, from pick-up to drop-off. The balloon team from Gloobo were excellent, and although most on the trip were Spanish, our pilot spoke fair English and took the trouble to include us in everything that was happening. It helped that we had perfect weather, but the trip exceeded our expectations, with fabulous views of old Cordoba and of the Andalucian countryside. Great fun, and highly recommended.

Can't recommend this trip highly enough. Excellent communication pre-trip, punctual pick up as arranged and friendly staff on the trip. Miguel, my pilot spoke English as well as Spanish. Safety was paramount, with weather being the main concern and a full safety briefing before we set off. The views are beautiful over Granada and everyone gets to see everything, as Miguel skillfully spun the balloon gently throughout the trip. Exact course and duration of the trip depends on the wind speed and direction, but I was lucky enough to be in the air for almost an hour and had a soft landing. Breakfast is at a local hotel restaurant and was standard Spanish fare. Great start to the morning!

Do to weather we wound up taking our balloon ride from Seville which was our next stop.
Our guide stayed in constant contact with us and made the change of location very easy.
The ride was amazing. It even impressed my children who are in their 20's.
The crew made it so much fun! HIGHLY recoomend.
