Leave your centrally located Granada hotel by air-conditioned coach, and then travel west to the historical city of Ronda, roughly two hours away. After relaxing on the journey, start your tour of the city with a stroll through the 19th-century Alameda del Tajo gardens, a place that offers breathtaking views. Gaze out at the city set against the mountains while learning all about Ronda’s history, from its origins as an Iberian settlement and, later, as a Roman stronghold.
Amble into the city center to see some of Ronda’s top attractions close-up. Visit Plaza de Toros, the historical bullring made from stone, and take photos from the center of the ring. Continue along New Bridge, the dramatic stone crossing that connects Ronda’s historical and modern-day districts, and gaze down at the impressive El Tajo de Ronda gorge that measures more than 328 feet (100 meters) deep.
See San Juan Bosco House with its Modernist architecture, and visit the Old Bridge, Felipe V Gate Bridge and the Roman Bridge (Puente San Miguel). Ronda has religious sights in abundance, too, and your walking tour also includes sights of the beautiful Church of Santa Maria ─ built on an ancient mosque ─ as well as Mudejar Tower and Casita de la Torre with its Gothic and Renaissance religious architecture.
Visit the Wine Museum of Ronda for a tour of Bodegas La Sangre de Ronda, the city’s esteemed winery. Learn about the winemaking heritage of Ronda and the surrounding area, and sample a selection of the wine and than enjoy a break for lunch at a local restaurant (own expense).
Then, enjoy some free time to explore the city at your own pace. Shop for wine to take home, sightsee independently or perhaps visit a cafe for a drink (own expense) before returning to Granada. After leaving the city, your day trip finishes with a drop-off at your Granada hotel.行程概要出發地點
