While you are in port in Cadiz, discover the capital of Andalucia on a shore excursion to Seville. Meet your local guide in front of the Cadiz port and relax on a comfortable minibus during the 60-minute drive to Seville. In Seville, start your small-group walking tour with a visit to the Macarena Walls, and then head to Plaza de Espa a, a jewel of Seville and one of its prettiest plazas. Next, walk down to Maria Luisa Park and admire the mix of 1920s Art Deco and Moorish designs.
Continue to the Baroque palace of San Termo, home to wonderful gardens. Then visit the Cathedral of Seville, the largest Gothic cathedral and third-largest of any church in the world. As you walk around this UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit the tomb of Christopher Columbus, the Capilla Real and the Patio de los Naranjos. Enjoy views of the breathtaking Giralda tower, once the tallest tower in the world and today one of only three remaining Almohad minarets (a mosque spire from the 12th-century Almohad Dynasty).
Take a short break for lunch (own expense) in the Jewish quarter and wander around the labyrinth of narrow streets, originally designed to protect Jews from oppression. Continue to the Santa Cruz quarter, one of Seville's best-known neighborhoods with big mansions, family palaces and flower-covered patios. Then visit the Alcazar, a royal palace that was originally a Moorish fort.
End your walking tour at the oldest bullring in Spain, La Maestranza. Enjoy free time in this area before you make your way back to the Cadiz port.

The Seville trip was good BUT....our guide was sensitive to the needs of the group, but also sensitive to people who had joined the bus tour for the ride, but were not taking the Alcazar and Cathedral. They received a fair amount of his attention...and the most difficult part of all was that the end of the free time wasn't well orchestrated...a number of the tour guests were not at the designated location. I must admit though that the tour guide had not defined this location well. As a result we waited for nearly 45 minutes for the guide to find the stragglers and get them to the bus. We were late at the cruise ship...although they waited for the group. We were rather anxious by the time we got on board. Seville is a great place visit, the Catheral is gorgeous, the Real Alcazar quite spectacular. Location great...tour not so hot.

The sights were wonderful, but the local guide provided in Seville was hard to understand and not very interesting. We were fairly bored with her and tended to wander the sights more on our own and then find the group again before leaving each location. The guide on our bus, however, was funny and interesting

We had an outstanding tour and was all we expected it to be and more.One of the best tours we have taken! Even the ride from the port to Seville was interesting,allowing us to see some of the countryside.Our guides were so informative and personable.Not knowing much of the history of all we saw,they filled in the blanks.We intend to return to this area on our own to explore the cultural offerings and get to know the people better.

Fabulous Tour with Pablo and Xavier. It was a beautiful day with sunshine abound but Pablo provided with a lot of information on the way to Seville and took wonderful care of us. Then Xavier joined us who had a wealth of knowledge about the Palace and Cathedral. Both of which we didn't have to wait in lines due to their ability to skip the lines. So in a short amount of time we saw a lot of Seville with a lot of wonderful knowledge given to us by Xavier. Wonderful trip!!!

Pablo was a great tour guide, although Javier was knowlegeable he rushed the group and it felt like he did not want to be there. We had a very small group, and we were actually running to keep up with Javier. We loved Cadiz, and Seville.

The very small walking tour of Seville was just perfect. Both guides were wonderful and I will take viator tours next year. A great job by Sandra and Patrick!

Fabulous tour and even better Tour Host ..Oliver.. The local guide was also very knowledgeable and interesting . His English was a bit tricky to follow but only because of his Spanish accent.
I wish all guides were as good as Oliver.
