Leave your Barcelona hotel (or cruise port) by air-conditioned minibus and travel up Montjuic Barcelona’s famous 755-foot (230-meter) hill while enjoying breathtaking views. Located at the hill’s peak is Anella Ol□mpica, where the 1992 Olympic Games were held. Stop for photos near the Montjuic Castle for panoramic views of the city and harbor and then head back down the hill and into town.
Barcelona is famous for its links to Antoni Gaudi Spain’s most celebrated Modernist architect. The city is scattered with his highly acclaimed work for you to discover. Pose by one of his more extraordinary creations -- the still-unfinished La Sagrada Familia cathedral -- as you embark on a panoramic visit outside the church.
Travel along the glitzy shopping strip of Passeig de Gracia, passing other architectural sites of interest like Casa Amataller and Casa Morera, and capture the eye-catching exterior of Casa Batllo. Then head to Gaudi’s Park G□ell to make your way past the long entrance lines with your skip-the-line ticket to explore this charming public park of gardens and architectonic elements on Carmel Hill. Easily one of the most impressive public spaces in the world, the gardens are said to encapsulate Gaudi’s creative genius with an abundance of colorful mosaics and intriguing gatehouses.
After a break for lunch (own expense), or in the morning (depending on the order of touring), get back on board your minibus and travel west to Montserrat, the craggy mountain in the middle of Spain’s first national park. Walk through the park and learn about the area’s history, and head inside Santa Maria de Montserrat, the beautiful Benedictine abbey and basilica where thousands of Christian pilgrims have journeyed over the centuries. Learn about the Virgin of Montserrat (known as the Black Virgin) and take in incredible views toward Barcelona. If you’re lucky, you may catch a performance by La Escalonia the oldest children’s choir in Europe who performs regularly here.

The tour was excellent. We had a really nice tourguide (orginally from Vlaanderen) Our tourguide explained the history of each place we went or passed thoroughly! The driver we also nice. It is a must do tour! Pack some snacks and water and enjoy it! Tip: Do it at the beginning of your stay.

We were on a Viking Cruise but their similar tour was filled. Based on a good experience with Viator in Berlin we decided to take the Viator tour. The guide, Marta, spoke English with no accent. We were picked up from the port terminal on time in a Mercedes small bus. She was extremely knowledgeable and we went to Montserrat first and had enough time to hear the boys choir sing. The rest of the trip to see so much of Gaudi's works was perfect. I highly recommend this tour.It was well run and not rushed.

Montserrat is a wonderful monument in a great setting of unique mountain forms.Guell Entry is not to be missed. Unbelievable mosaics , figures and buildings. Have to be seen to see the beauty and workmanship.

The tour got had a rough start with the pickup time being changed without our knowledge. The provider claimed to have attempted to call our hotel to tell us but "the hotel phones were not working" ( a Hilton Hotel). Instead of taking us to the tour company office, they directed toheir driver to take us to another location where we were to join up with the tour in progress. When we got to the location, the driver told us to go to the person standing at the entrance and holding a clipboard. That person directed us to the main entrance of the museum where we were told that we didn't have a ticket for entry.We then returned to the corner to see if there was anyone associated with the tour there. When we found no one, we attempted to call the tour company but my wife's cellphone was out of power. A total stranger saw our situation and called the company for us. Shortly after that, the tour guide arrived and took us to the bus to begin the tour as advertised.The remainder of the tour went quit well and we enjoyed it very much!

You can't ask for a much better tour guide than Simona who has wealth of knowledge.She kept the tour more interesting and fun because of her wit.Luis was a excellent driver too.

I highly recommend this tour. I always take a tour in a vacation spot I've never been to familiarize myself with the area, famous spots and to avoid the lines. The tour guide, Elena is truly fantastic! She spoke clearly, has lots of energy, polite, friendly, courteous and a joy to be around. We spent eight hours on a Sunday, July 29th on a mini-tour bus with a total of 13 tourists (not including bus driver and Elena). It was an exciting experience and I would do it all over again in a heart beat!

The best parts of this tour were the places we visited and our warm, very knowledgeable guide who took very good care of us. All that was wanting was spending a little extra time on Montserrat; we could have used another half hour or so.
