Leave central Barcelona by air-conditioned coach and travel to north Catalonia to the walled city of Girona, on the Onyar River. As you travel, hear how Girona became one of Spain’s most prosperous cities in medieval times: a wealth that saw the construction of its beautiful Romanesque and Gothic buildings.
After roughly 1.5 hours, arrive in the city and stroll around the Old Town with your guide. Delve into the old-world streets and Jewish Quarter, home to one of Catalonia’s most significant Jewish communities in the Middle Ages.
See the baroque Cathedral exterior and admire the views of Girona’s pastel-colored houses perched along the Onyar’s banks. Then, after free time for lunch (own expense), continue by coach to Figueres, the birthplace of 20th-century Spanish artist, Salvador Dal□.
On route, hear Dal□'s extraordinary life story and learn how the moustachioed genius remodeled Figueres’ Dal□ Theatre-Museum from the town’s original Municipal Theater.
Admire the museum’s striking Dal□-esque fa ade and then head inside to view its collections of Dal□’s art, before seeing some of his stylized jewels at the neighboring Dal□ Jewels exhibition.

Alex, tour guide, who offered a bilingual tour. Fellow passengers talked through the Spanish portion of the tour and one couple had a screaming two-year old, whom they allowed to urinate in the tour bus!

Girona is beautiful and I found to be more enjoyable exploring on my own versus with a guide. Too much time was spent at the Dal□ museum...it’s not very big.

Our tour was great. My four year old and I enjoyed the towns and the Dali museum immensely. Gemma made our bus rides very enjoyable with excellent narration in English and Spanish.

This day trip was exceptional, we had a great guide (Christine) to show us around Girona with plenty of time to stop for a proper lunch and still able to meander the streets before going on to Figueres and the magical Dali museum, we loved it..

Great time traveling to see Girona, learning its history and culture. Lovely place. I wish we had more time there. Figueres with Dali, a good place to know more about this amazing/freeck painter. All worth the money and time. Recommend.

Our tour guides were excellent. The tour guide in Girona knew everything about the town. The town was everything you'd expect from a European town. She took us everywhere and we learned a lot, especially about the flies! Our time in Figueres was primarily at the Dali Museum. Our guide taught us a lot about the museum and many of the various pieces within until it was time for us to explore on our own.

Another memorable experience! We totally enjoyed this one. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the place. We highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide was knowledgeable. We covered lots of area in the time we spent. I wished that the language issue could have been solved better. We had a knowledgeable but her English was just OK and kept on talking about " Game of Thorn" what wever which many people could care less about. The guide about Dali was awesome however, she had to split herself masterfully between spanish speakers and English. I would have preferred fro the price I paid to have just an English speaking guide.

The bus departed just on time. We had a guided tour from the very first second that we entered the bus. The local guide in Girona was excellent and very analytical, although some details could be omitted, and she spoke english fluently. The guide in Figueres, Alex, was excellent too, he knew Dali way of drawing and his explanations helped us comprehend the museum's exhibits and the way Dali created his masterpieces. The only disadvantage was that there was no enough time in Figueres and we couldn't see the jools exhibition. We definitely needed one more hour. To sum up, I higlhy recommend this tour.
