Leave central Barcelona by air-conditioned coach and drive west to the small town of Sant Sadurni d'Anoia in Catalonia. On route, hear about the town’s claim to fame as the home of the Freixenet Cava Cellars, where some of Spain’s best bubbly known as cava is produced. ( (After roughly an hour, arrive at the Freixenet winery and head inside to learn about the brand, founded in the early 20th century by a husband-and-wife team. Discover how Freixenet quickly gained fame when it began to be exported and gained a DOP (Denominazione di Origine Protetta) classification a prestigious mark of quality. ( (Watch an audio-visual presentation about cava and see inside the original cellars, built in 1922. As you explore, hear about the different stages of the production process and discover expert tips on how best to serve and drink cava. Next, ride a mini train through the modern workshop and finish with a fitting finale ─ a glass of delicious, chilled Freixenet itself.After, continue by coach to picturesque Sitges, one Spain’s chicest seaside towns. While you travel, hear interesting tales about this pretty whitewashed fishing village, known for its sandy beaches, sunny climate and cosmopolitan vibe.On arrival, enjoy free time for lunch (own expense) at one of the many restaurants, and then rejoin your guide at Bacardi House, set in a converted 19th-century market in Sitges’ old town.Take a tour of the house and learn how Bacardi’s founder, Facundo Bacardi, was born in Sitges and emigrated to Cuba in 1830, where he established his famous rum. Walk through rooms dedicated to Bacardi and learn all about how it's produced using molasses, stills, barrels and precision filtering.Finish with an entertaining demo of how to mix the perfect Bacardi cocktail ─ either a mojito or Cuba Libre ─ and then grab the chance to mix and enjoy your very own version!Lastly, return to Barcelona where your tour ends at the original departure point.行程概要出發地點

Great day out !! Longer than we expected as they added Bacardi house tour as well.. Freixenet tour was very Interesting Bacardi tour was a bonus and lots of fun ..Got to make and drink our own cocktail..Had free time for shopping and lunch at Sitges Beach..Fun day..

The Freixenet facility is first class. The tour guide was wonderful. The Bacardi visit was a nice add-on.

This tour was just awesome! We did this mid September 2015. We started at the Freixenet Winery after a short video on the bus describing the history of the vineyard and the families who made it what it is today. The tour itself was really informative as well as being interesting and fun. Of course the wine sampling at the end went down very well! Cool gift shop in which to purchase great souveniers to take home.The trip on to Stiges was great. Our guide was fantastic and walked us from the bus through the streets of Stiges to the main beach. He pointed out places of interest to visit which were all worth seeing. We had a gorgeous lunch on the beachfront and back to the bus for the trip home. Wish we had longer in Stiges. This is a great place to spend a couple of days!! Very relaxed but plenty going on if you want it. Would highly recommended this tour. The pick up point was nice and easy to find in Barcelona being at the top of La Ramblas.

What an amazing day. We chose to stay in Sitges for he afternoon and catch to train back to Barcelona. History of the Cava wine cellars and the hospitality was fantastic, tasting of the various Cava wines a highlight. The street of Sitges we fun to explore and the beach beautiful and relaxing with cocktails a plenty.

Loved the tour of Freixenet (I'm a big fan of their cavas to begin with) - learned a lot about the history of the company and their process. Sitges was a bit of a snooze and would have preferred to go back to Barcelona after the tour of Freixenet.

Lovely tour of the vineyard. The host from the winery was very hospitable. We had a lovely experience sampling the wine and purchasing bottles of the cava to bing home.
However, the tour guide who brought the group there was not personable and did not bother to speak to the group to explain on the bus. He only played videos of the winery and kept an invisible presence throughout.

This was a great tour - we really enjoyed it and sitting down at the end having a few glasses of Cava was brilliant. Highly recommend this to anybody who loves wine.
