Designed between 1906 and 1912, UNESCO-listed La Pedrera is one of Barcelona's icons, and was the last building that Gaud□ worked on before he devoted his attention to La Sagrada Familia. Often called Casa Mil□ after the family who commissioned Gaudi to create it, the building’s official name translates as ‘the quarry’ in Spanish, and some of its most beautiful spaces are open to the public.
Armed with your skip-the-line ticket, head to Passeig de Gracia avenue, where La Pedrera is located. Admire its striking exterior, and then head straight inside, through the special entrance reserved for skip-the-line ticket holders. Collect your audio guide and explore the eye-opening interiors at your leisure. With audio commentary providing rich detail, you’ll come away with a deep understanding of the building and Gaudi himself.
Pass through the decorative lobbies and two courtyards of Passeig de Gr□cia and Provenca with their swirling murals and mosaics, and hear how Gaudi designed them to optimize light and ventilation. Explore the Exhibition Hall, the former residence of the building’s owners, the Mil□ family. Take in original Gaudi features including the stair columns and then enter the La Pedrera apartment to learn about early 20th-century Barcelona and see a recreation of a Gaudi-designed, bourgeois apartment of the period.
Ascend to La Pedrera’s crowning glory: its roof terrace. Marvel at the corkscrew chimneys set against the sweeping backdrop of Barcelona, and visit the Espau Gaudi space in the attic-like upper story ─ an exhibition solely dedicated to Gaudi. Examine the models, photos and displays and learn all about his life, works and vision for the building.

La Pedrera officially known as Casa Mila is an amazing building. Skip the line lets you in quickly and the audio guide has a lot of useful information. I picked La Pedrera as the one Gaudi building to pay to see, and I'm very happy with my choice. You can explore it from lobby to rooftop without any extra charges. I loved the rooftop! Arches and chimneys and Catalan giants on a winding sloping surface with great views of Barcelona to boot! There's also the attic directly below with videos and models and a very interesting display of shapes found in nature that inspired Gaudi. Below that is an apartment as it could have looked in the period 1905-1910 with a short video of Barcelona during that time period.. My friend and I ended up spending most of our day there. The gift shops 2 are cool also. The lobby is beautiful.

This is a must see and the sky the line pass makes entry much faster. The audioguide quality is quite good.

Not the easiest to use audio guide but ok. Not much to see at ground level except the inevitable gift shop. Signage through the building and for each room could have been better. But nothing can take away from the splendour and imagination of Gaudi

A must see if you like Gaudi and his work..Amazing building and helpful audio tour.rooftop is spectacular.

Gets you in, gets you through it. Highly recommended even for those who don't love Gaudi but are traveling with others who do.

Very rude member of staff who had short hair and glasses and seemed in her 40s. I was visiting Barcelona alone as a young woman and simply asked her where I could find headphones since I forgot to get some at reception. She just snapped “why didn’t you ask for one at reception!” which took me aback.
