Choose from a 30-minute or 1-hour tour when you book, and make your own way to the Casa Lle□ i Morera in Barcelona’s Eixample district for your chosen start time. Both tour options cover the stairway and first floor, considered the height of the house’s craftsmanship, with the 1-hour tour allowing more time to study both areas.Meet your guide and before setting off for your interior tour, listen to a fascinating introduction to the building. Originally built in 1864, the house was remodeled between 1902 and 1906 by architect Llu□s Dom□nech i Montaner on the request of its owners, the Lle□ Morera family.A leading light of the Catalan modernisme movement whose other practitioners included Antoni Gaud□, i Montaner brought together a group of highly talented artisans to execute a root-and-branch refurbishment of the building in the in-vogue modernisme style of the time. The result is a stunning example of this art nouveau inspired artistic movement, with its emphasis on sinuous lines, colour and richly crafted ornament.Admire the vestibule and marble staircase, whose walls are graced with ceramics and mosaics, and hear from your guide how the numerous emblems of the mulberry plant are a nod to the family name of Morera ─ the Spanish word for the tree.Explore the first floor, whose decorative corridors and rooms represent the peak of the building’s craftsmanship. Drink in the coffered ceilings and eye-catching stained glass windows by Antoni Rigalt; admire the exquisitely inlaid furniture and floors, and see such highlights as the the dining room, where ceramic mosaics depict idyllic pastoral scenes.Having explored for 30 minutes or an hour, your tour ends when you say goodbye to your guide.行程概要出發地點

- A must-do tour in Barcelona! A unique building with an interesting story behind it and amazing decorations. The guide provides a good historical and cultural background so you can understand the meaning and value of this work of art.
- What a beautiful building. It was a big surprise to find such beautiful and detailed interiors. The guided tour was great as it really helped to understand the history and thoughts behind each design and each corner of the house. Nice to see that Barcelona is not all just nabout Gaudi!
