The tour lasts 7 days / 6 nights and starts with three nights accommodation in an exclusive villa in Verona. Villa Baietta is a villa with a new concept of vacation: the atmosphere of the mansion is the heart and the must of the holiday. Every single detail has been conceived and developed by the lady of the house: the colours and tones, the welcoming atmosphere, the dressy details. The radiant welcome of this environment is created to inject an immediate warm sensation to guests, spoil, and cherish them.
Don't miss the opportunity of visiting Verona, one of the main tourist destinations in northern Italy, owing to its artistic heritage, several annual fairs, shows, and operas, such as the lyrical season in the Arena, the ancient Roman amphitheatre. The city has also been awarded World Heritage Site status by UNESCO because of its urban structure and architecture.
During the second day, a wine tasting tour in Valpolicella is included in the package. Wine tasting tour in a family farm structure which is a small paradise for wine lovers. You will sample 4 wines: Valpolicella Classico: young wine, generous and fruity; Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso: more complex and with a particularly character; Amarone: generous and powerful nectar spicy bouquet; Recioto: sparkling white wine from the lands of Soave. To better appreciate these great wines, tastings are accompanied by some snacks. On the menu: bruschetta with olive oil, bread and Italian salami, cheese (Grana Padano) and dessert (Sbrisolona).
The other half of the tour is based near Treviso, a former fishing village and has gradually become a popular tourist centre. Its picturesque streets and colorful houses at the water's edge remind of Venice, the lagoon city. The historic center of the city is surrounded by fortifications and medieval walls, here cross two rivers, Kanjan and Sile, giving the city a touch of unique charm.
The accommodation is provided by Dolce Colle, a farmhouse located on the Montello hill. The “Dolce Colle” B&B is a wonderful structure with a modern design, providing every comfort for your stay, it's the perfect location for a food and wine tour.
The day after your arrival at Dolce Colle, you will do a wine tasting in Valdobbiadene, 50-minutes drive north of Treviso, an area surrounded by majestic mountains. After travelling through the hills, it's time for the tasting. Here, the bubbles are in the spotlight: Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze and Valdobbiadene Extra Dry will make your taste buds happy.行程概要出發地點
