Feel like royalty as you make your way through the city dressed in your finest Venetian costume. Peering out from behind your traditional mask, soak up the electric carnival atmosphere and take in exquisite views of the Grand Canal before heading inside Palazzo Flangini, a private palace that is normally closed to the public.
Receive a warm welcome from your host, Casanova, then weave through the bustle of excited partygoers, taking in the extravagant costumes and opulent decor as you pass. Help yourself to a welcome cocktail and canap□s, and perhaps mingle with the other guests and entertainers. You might even find yourself waltzing around the dance floor to the delightful classical music that fills the air.
When the time comes, make your way to the main or side room (depending on option selected), and take a seat at one of the candle-lit tables for your sumptuous gala dinner. Sip on fine Italian wine and feast on four delectable courses, lavishly presented by the palace’s charming waiting staff.
As you eat, be amazed by artistic displays and improvised performances in the style of Commedia dell’arte, a popular form of street theater that originated in Italy during the Renaissance. If you’ve upgraded to dine in the main room, you’ll be seated at the heart of the action, with the entertainment as well as a live classical band only a matter of feet from you. If you’re in the side room, you’ll have to opportunity to interact with the entertainers as they pass through.
After dinner, head downstairs, where a spectacular after party takes place. Dance to chart-topping love songs and party favorites played by a DJ, and enjoy unlimited drinks from the open bar.
