Board your luxury speedboat in central Venice, and cruise along the Grand Canal. As you relax, either inside the boat or out on deck, your guide drives and talks about the sights that line your route. Pop on your headphones so you catch all the commentary, no matter where you are.
Hear the history of Venice’s big-name sights as you pass them on the water, from St Mark’s Square to Doge’s Palace and several beautiful crossings including the Bridge of Sighs, Accademia Bridge and Rialto Bridge. The banks of the famous water-filled boulevard are flanked by Venetian palazzos and churches. Have your camera ready to capture the most interesting examples such as C□ d’Oro, C□ Pesaro, Salute Church and the magnificent Madonna dell’Orto Church.
As the sights of the Grand Canal slip behind you, make a stop at the island of San Giorgio Maggiore and stop to explore its namesake basilica. Admire the church’s interior, and then climb the bell tower ─ or take the elevator ─ to see vistas of Venice and the dome of St Mark’s Basilica.

This is a good tour if you don't want to pay the 90 euro for a half hour gondola ride. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Venice. Because we were on a larger boat, you don't see many of the very small canals. The best part of the tour was seeing Venice from the top of the bell tower at the Basilica of San Giorgio Maggiore.

Boat was OK not a luxury, though, the guide was OK. It was in Venice, so the views were really great. Expected a little more than just climbing the tower of San Giorgio Maggiore a short island and basilica tour would be great. Definitely too expensive.
