    I have booked many tours with Viator and have always been very pleased. This is the first time, I've experienced the tour from hell. The train parts were perfect. We caught the Hop on Hop off bus and started our journey. Our plan was to visit 8 out of the total places. Our first stop was at the Statue of Michal Angelo. We stayed there 1 hour and was planning on catching the next bus to see the rest of the stops. The next bus that came was full so we waited about an hour for the next bus to come. Which was okay. The next bus, never stopped. She pulled up behind another bus and kept going. It was about 10 people waiting at the stop. We all had to find alternative ways to get to our final designations. We were ONLY able to see ONE stop and we had to WALK back to the train station. The reason why we catch the 2 hour train ride to Florence was to see the sites at the Hop on Hop off site. Ridiculous!

    Would have given it 5 stars if there was an option to have the train ride include a fully guided tour rather than the on/off bus. Florence is very small that you can walk it yourself. Also, if there was an option to leave from Florence back to Venice earlier rather than the last train out around 930PM, that would have been a plus. The public buses in Venice stop at midnight.

    Absolutely loved this tour! Florence was amazing and everything was well planned out!the hop on/off bus was great,the michealangelo David statue stop had an amazing view,the sun was shining so sat all afternoon listening to a street performer singing and drank prosecco which was sold at a refreshment van for only 10 we ended it with a trip to planet Hollywood then back on the train,perfect day out seeing the sights in the sunshine

    First and foremost, I want to give Viator 5 stars for all they did to help with our trip. Three stars is only because of the Hop on/Hop off Services.

    We were on our honeymoon and planned a day in Florence. Their was an issue with the train however, Viator was very accommodating and fixed the problem. When we arrived it was raining. Because of this the Hop on/Hop Off Buses the representative said they oversold and would not help us were only running one bus per line. We ended up having to pay for public transportation.

    This is not Viator's fault but it was so frustrating to have to deal with something that you paid for with no help from the vendor.

    This tour is great.. we have enough time in florence, did some shopping and saw the tourists spots in 1 day.. this is a long journey but worth it.. will definitely do this again in the future

    Wonderful trip, but quite long as you were unable to change your return train, which did not get back to Venice until almost midnight!!

    Great trip to Florence! Florence has many more things than it is possible to see in one day, so a second day would have been best.

    OK, but the canal was blocked during the trip, so we had to leave venice early.

    Train ride was good. Meeting place was fairly easy to find. Hop on hop off bus tour was excellent. Florence was quite interesting an interesting city...that always helps.
