Your small-group Venice tour starts at the Grand Canal, the city's main waterway, which meanders past palaces, churches, bridges and open-air markets. The best way to see these attractions is by water taxi, and you’ll do just that on your one-hour guided Grand Canal tour. Your boat holds a maximum of 10 people, so you'll have no problem seeing the sights!
Next, disembark your water taxi for your small-group walking tour of top Venice attractions and hidden gems. See the external Bovolo staircase, in all its spiral glory, and pass the former home of Marco Polo, Venice's famous patron. This tour was extremely disappointing. Our guide was unorganized, and our boat was way too small for 11 people plus our driver and guide. It was our only tour in Venice, and we just didn't enjoy any part of it.

The best part was the doges palace tour especially the story of cassanovas escape. The canal ride was fun but a little crowded in the water taxi. May have been better with fewer people

Our guide talked non stop for 3 hours what should have been a real insight to Venice quickly became a real bore. Information overkill and not even 5 minutes free time in the Basilica gift shop had our small group looking at their watches praying for the end. Wished we'd done it on our own.

Good but a little long.Unfortunately, we started at 9am with Doges Castle and came back for the afternoon tour which ended about 5:30 making it a very long day. If there is a way to split it into two days that would be great. But I would recommend it.

We needed a shorter tour to fit into our tight schedule. This tour was outstanding! Our tour guide, Nicolleta,
showed us many places that were less crowded and still very interesting. She recommended a locals'restaurant, and she explained how all the islands functioned together as a city. She showed us the city sites, as well, including the inside of St. Marks. It was very hot, and she showed us how the locals feel cooler. The boat ride on the Grand Canal was wonderful and relaxing. Seeing sites from a boat is easier than braving the crowds. -
The guide was excellent , interesting , engaging and informative . The tour gave a great insight about Venice historically and culturally .
