Start your tour under the famous Clock Tower in St. Mark's Square: here, you will find the expert guide who will accompany you on this interesting tour. After a fascinating walk through the lively areas of St. Mark's and Rialto districts, the tour will take you to the two main attractions of Venice: the Doge's Palace and St Mark’s Basilica, with skip-the-line access and guided visits.
The walking tour includes some of the main places to visit in Venice, such as St. Mark's Square - with the description of the major buildings that surround it - Campo of Santa Maria Formosa, Campo Santi Giovanni and Paolo, the Malibran Theatre and the place where Marco Polo's house once stood. You will return to St. Mark's Square along the Mercerie, the famous shopping streets located between Rialto Bridge and San Marco.
The following visits will be the Doge's Palace and St Mark’s Basilica, two extraordinary monuments that represent the centre of spiritual and temporal power of the ancient Republic of Venice.
At the Doge’s Palace, you will see the extraordinary masterpieces, the historical treasures and the elegant furnishings adorning the rooms of this ancient palace. The tour also includes a visit to the Bridge of Sighs and to the New Prisons.
After the guided visit of the Doge’s Palace, you will be taken inside St. Mark's Basilica to discover the golden interiors of the magnificent cathedral of Venice.

To visit St Mark's Basilica it is necessary to dress appropriately (no shorts or vest or tops) and backpacks are not allowed for safety reasons. Please note that, due to the particular morphological structure of Venice and the logistic problems resulting from it, we cannot guarantee that the whole tour is accessible to people with limited mobility. Great tour. Our guide, Catarina, was very knowledgeable and informative. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a quick overview of Venice, and more details and insight into the Doge's Palace and St. Mark's Basilica.

Our guide was great! We saw so much and learned so much. A very well organized tour.

The group we were in was HUGE and therefore the tour was terribly slow. Our tour guide was entertaining but very hard to understand. These are both places that you can see on your own and I did not see long lines at all. I am sure the price to get in the door is a lot less that what we paid for tour.

We were only four during this tour which allowed us to cover a lot of ground in Venice. The local tour operator is the only group allowed in the middle seats of the Basilica and enjoy substantial explanation of the building and its artworks. Kudos to our guide Rossana for a great tour.

Good tour, no time built in for breaks - so be prepared. Also, if you don't keep up, you can lose the audio for our tour guide and miss out on some of the information.
