Your Venice walking tour starts at an iconic Venice attraction -- the elegant Rialto Bridge (Ponte di Rialto) -- a favorite sight for many and the oldest bridge in Venice. This was an amazing walk-in tour, very well planned. Our tour guide Ms. Hazel has told interesting stories about the locations. St. Mark Basilica is beautiful and a must visit place if you are in Venice.

First of all, thank you Viator for your representative's help with this tour. I greatly appreciated her patience and hard work to help me get back on this tour. We basically went to the wrong meeting point. The confirmation sheet contained 2 different instructions and I read the wrong one. On top of this.....Venice is a tangle of streets, bridges and canals. It is not the easiest city to walk through. Our senior travelers grew weary of the windy streets and narrow corridors and we had to find another route to get to the Basilica....we ended up taking the water bus which gets there via the water. Once I got there, I realized that our tour guide was not going to be there - she was going to be at a statue located 20 min. from that point. From her meeting point, she was going to walk through a bit of the City and finally arrive at the Basilica for the 2nd half. It was too late to reverse to find her and I called Viator to see if we could just stay at the Basilica and wait for her to arrive to finish the second half. After a long wait over the phone and several calls, Viator managed to find the guide and we were told to stand by the Skip the Line entrance to the Basilica and wait for her. Viator gave clear instructions about who / how / where and we connected. Without that rep's help - the 6 of us would have had to forfeit the full cost of this tour. As it turned out - we all got a chance to see the Basilica and have a pleasant gondola ride in the end. Thanks Viator for your help - job well done! Thank you.....this alone is a good reason to book with Viator.

Excellent walking tour of the most beautiful city of Venice. The length of the tour was perfect, and the gondola ride was a nice, restful, ending.
