Start your tour inside Doge's Palace, enjoying skip-the-line access. Your guide will introduce you to the palace, making you feel as though you've stepped back into Venice's past.
The palace, built in Venetian Gothic style, was the dwelling of the Doge, the supreme authority of the Venice Republic. As you walk through one of the most important places in the city's history, learn about what the golden age of Venice was like. You'll visit the lavish Doge's Apartments with their decorated rooms, the spacious enclosed courtyards, and the palace dungeons. Your guide also shows you works by Titian, Veronese, and Tintoretto while you explore.
Admire the Opera Museum, with a sort of allegorical speech engraved on the stone, and visit the ancient entrance of the palace, the Giants' Staircase with the two statues of Mars and Neptune, the Lodge Atrium, the Golden Staircase with the marble statues of Atlas and Hercules, and the Institutional Chambers.
At the end of your tour, cross the Bridge of Sighs, which connects Doge's Palace to the prisons. The bridge was built in 1614, and its nickname refers sadly to the convicts who exhaled their last breath of freedom before reaching their place of imprisonment.行程概要出發地點

With so many things to see and do in Venice and the area, this tour allowed us to plan our day, knowing when it would start and an approximate time it would finish. We met in the square, under the clock tower, where other tour groups were assembling. We checked in and waited to walk over to the palace. One tour group was ahead of us going through security and we quickly were in the palace. The tour was a good overview, our guide was excellent and we saw everything we needed to see. Be prepared, in the summer months it can be very hot in there, so some may want to bring a small fan. Overall, this is a great tour for the cost and time.

Very interesting tour, and totally worth it, the guides are experts and have some very amazing spaces inside the palace, make sure to take a picture from the inside of the bridge of sighs. just a quick photo due that it's a very small space and you can jam the line

I really enjoyed this tour. Heather knew her history and was an interesting and funny storyteller. I cannot stress enough that you should go on guided tours as opposed to just wandering around looking at places. Highly recommend!

We arrived in Venice and jumped right into this tour with Marco! He was a fabulous tour guide. He was knowledgeable and hilarious. We went 4 months ago now and I can still hear his voice in my head so that means it was memorable. The Doge's Palace is beautiful. I had been to Venice before and skipped this tour. I was glad to do it this time. It is however very busy to navigate around other groups, Marco did a great job of this.
