This shared boat transfer from to the Marittima Cruise Port will alter its route (when possible) to pick you up at the most convenient stop to your Venice hotel. See the Itinerary section below for list of stops.
Please provide your Venice cruise ship details and Venice hotel details on booking.
Your shared boat transfer will be confirmed instantaneously and you will be provided with a travel voucher to present to the driver. 24 to 48 hours prior to your transfer, you will be required to call the supplier directly (the contact number will be provided on your travel voucher) to reconfirm exact pickup time and place. Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 5 days of travel. In this case confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability Venice Marittima Cruise Port is approximately 30 minutes from Venice The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage (e.g. surfboards, golf clubs or bikes) may attract a small additional fee, payable direct to driver. Please note, in case of fog or bad weather conditions the boat service will be diverted via Piazzale Roma by vehicle. Infants aged 3 years and under travel free of charge. They must be seated in the lap of an adult. No child seats or baby capsules are provided. I wasn't too sure about booking this transfer seeing that it was in a limited English speaking location and we needed to get from our hotel to the Cruise Port in time enough for our departure. Please note that neither my wife nor I are able to speak Italian. The alternatives didn't look to easy as it would have involved either getting on and off a ferry with our luggage then trying to find our way to the people mover to take us to the port, or, walking from our hotel, over a rather large footbridge with steps and having to take our luggage also. Neither of these options really appealed to us.
I needn't have worried because it all worked out so well.
As I was already in another location in Italy prior to our stay in Venice I was able to contact the provider of the transfer and actually speak with an English speaking person who allayed all our fears about pick-up points etc. and stated that we would actually be taken from the canal at the front of our hotel to the Cruise Port and that the confirmation paperwork would be at our hotel when we arrived. It was.
We arranged a pick-up time near midday and went to the pier at the front of the hotel, which was located on the Grande Canal near the railway station, and waited briefly until the water taxi arrived just before the arranged time.
The driver was very efficient and pleasant. He placed our luggage on board and proceeded to take us directly to the cruise port at the luggage drop-off point for our particular cruise. He also took our luggage from the water taxi up to the drop-off point.
The trip took about 15 to 20 minutes in all and at no point did we feel uncomfortable or concerned about the overall transfer.
We would highly recommend this form of transfer to anyone who asked. -

The boat driver was rude. Stacked all our luggage against the outside of the boat and I literally had th grab someone's case so it wouldn't end up in the water!!! The guy obviously did not like his job!
Giving two stars because of the companies communication with a note at our hotel to introduce themselves and give details of pick up and that the driver was on time.

I booked this company to take us to Venice and pick us up for a transfer to the cruise port. When I asked the operator to confirm the pick up time, I was told they would fax my hotel with the confirmation, which they did. They did pick us up at the time I requested, although a little late. Since this was a shared service, they picked up additional passengers. That I can understand. The transfer took over an hour which got us to the terminal a little later that I wanted. My problem with this operator is the staff at the counter and the boat driver are rude.

Although we were supposed to be dropped off at stop closest to our hotel we were left at a narrow dock and had to take suitcases through a back alleyway over cobblestones, up and down a small bridge to get to our hotel. Discovered that the hotel had its own dock and for the return to port we ordered a private water taxi.

If you want to be dropped at the wrong port and pay for a taxi then this trip is the one for you. Even after showing the driver the paperwork indicating that this was the wrong port he still insisted it was the correct one. A taxi and 20 euros later we got to the correct port
