Pick up at your most convenient time in the morning and drive to M. Etna through Sicilian towns and visit some old lava flow on the way. Mt. Etna is one of the greatest and most beautiful volcano and adventure tour in Sicily. During the ascent different kinds of vegetation can be noted. We will reach 2.000 meters (7.000 ft) .On the way, we will also stop and visit a local family-owned honey farm where it is possible to taste local selection of natural honey (orange, lemon, eucalyptus, strawberry), almond pastries, olives, extra virgin olive oil and more delicacies. Then drive one of the most scenic routes, with a wonderful view over the volcano and the blue Ionian sea. Along the way we stop in one of the most known vineyards, 'Gambino' where it is possible to tour the wonderful property overlooking the sea and have a wine tasting and a typical Sicilian lunch, tasting Gambino wines with some delicious typical Sicilian food tastings: dried tomatoes, Etna area mushrooms and olives, local salami, pepato cheese, provola cheese, fresh cheese, sausage in white wine, hazelnuts, sweets and coffee.
