We will pick you up from any location in Sorrento or on the Amalfi Coast such as hotels, private villas, bed and breakfast, train station or the port and our professional driver will take you to the most interesting and famous place of our region, the ruins of Pompeii.
Pompeii is an entire roman town buried by the lava coming from the eruption of the mount Vesuvio in 79 a.c. You will feel the magical atmosphere of the Roman Empire and you will be surprised to see the perfect organization of a town that already is more than 2000 years old.
After Pompeii your driver can take you wherever you like for lunch and he will be happy to suggest you a traditional and unforgettable restaurant or a very old winery where you can eat something and at the same time do a wine tasting and a tour of the vineyard (own expense).
The last stop, before our driver will drive you back to the hotel or any other place of your choice, will be in Herculaneum to see more enchanting ruins. Admire Herculaneum - once a resort town for rich ancient Roman families - and its two-story villas, statues and beautiful frescos.行程概要出發地點

Lucia was a excellent guide and extremely knowledgable. Good sense of humor and simply a pleasure to spend part of our day with. Our driver Umberto took good care of us. We highly recommend both of them, as well as this tour.

An informative tour by a very knowledgable guide. She was very enthusiastic and made the sites interesting for us. However this "full day" tour was over by 2 pm followed by lunch. I would prefer a longer day as there was lots more to see (our amalfi coast tour finished 5pm!)

Lucia, our guide, and her husband, our driver, were both professional and engaging. Having previously visited Pompeii, I assumed that the tour would be redundant. I was both surprised and impressed. Lucia provided us incredible insight into the life of each site. Her language skills are excellent, exceeded only by her knowledge of the subject. Herculaneum was totally amazing - small but such a story and fabulous ruins. This tour was paced well and provided all of us in our group a clear understanding of each site and the life of the people. Well worth the cost of a private tour!
