Your 6-day tour begins and ends in Rome, where your 4-star centrally located hotel puts you conveniently near iconic attractions like the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. In addition to a guided walking tour, your stay in Rome includes independent sightseeing time so you can visit other attractions that interest you.
Days 3 to 5 are spent in Campania southern Italy’s popular coastal region that sprawls alongside the Tyrrhenian Sea. The area’s biggest draw is the sun-baked Amalfi Coast, where glamorous villages cling to jagged cliffs like little gems glistening above the sea. Enjoy two nights of 4-star accommodation here in the town of Amalfi, and explore the highlights of surrounding Campania both independently and with a guide, including the region's bustling capital, Naples, and ancient Pompeii. See below for details on each day of the tour.
Please note: The listed price does not include a city tax, payable at the time of hotel check-in. The tax is required by the hotels and is not within our control.行程概要出發地點

Day 1: Rome

Overnight: 4-star Hotel Gioberti in Rome
Day 2: Rome (B)
After breakfast, head out on a 3-hour walking tour with your guide to discover Rome. Starting from Largo di Torre Argentina a lesser-known piazza boasting Roman temple ruins your route continues to Campo de Fiori, Rome’s busiest and brashest, yet beautiful, central square. Here, you’ll find yourself right in the center of historical Rome, where many of the city’s big-name attractions are found. Visit Piazza Navona with its Baroque fountains and romantic cafes, and then see unmistakable monuments like the Pantheon. Wander past the Spanish Steps and throw a coin in Trevi Fountain for good luck!
Your walking tour ends in the center of Rome perfect for sightseeing independently if you wish. Spend the rest of your night in Rome at leisure.
Overnight: 4-star Hotel Gioberti in Rome
Day 3: Rome Naples Pompeii Amalfi (B, L, D)
Leave Rome early and head south to Campania by air-conditioned coach. Your journey lasts roughly three hours, but includes stops along the way to stretch your legs and buy breakfast. Arrive in Naples by late morning and head straight out to explore with your guide.
Concentrating on Naples’ UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site (its historic center), your leisurely paced walking tour takes in key sites like San Carlo Opera House -- one of Europe’s oldest working opera houses -- and Piazza del Plebiscito, the central square that’s flanked by four eye-catching palaces. Stop to admire the Royal Palace of Naples (Palazzo Reale), and learn how it was built by the Spanish and then renovated later by succeeding Bourbon kings. Walk through Galleria Umberto I, marveling at its glass-roofed arcade, and then hop back on board your coach.
Leave Naples and travel to a coral and cameo factory called Donadio. This family owned factory started one of the most ancient Neapolitan traditions the making of carved coral jewelry. See craftsmen at work and enjoy a break for lunch in the restaurant.
From here, continue to UNESCO-listed Pompeii to visit the excavations of this ancient Roman city with your guide. Hear how it was blanketed under volcanic ash for centuries following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 BC, and gaze at the incredible ruins that are scattered around. Return to your coach and travel toward the Amalfi Coast, passing through scenic villages like Positano. Check into your Amalfi hotel, enjoy dinner and then spend your night at leisure.
Overnight: 4-star Grand Hotel Bussola in Amalfi
Day 4: Amalfi Coast (B, D)

Excellent tour. I wish the tour was longer. It would have been nice to add an extra day in Rome and two extra days in Amalfi. The walking tour of Naples was also excellent.
-
My cousin and I signed up for this tour and we were very sorry. The guides walked way too fast and we would lose the audio. We felt very rushed on every aspect of this tour. The one day lunch was included in Naples, they even rushed us through the meal. We were so exhausted that we had to take a day while on the Amalfi coast and strictly rest. They dumped us at the hotel near Amalfi for 2 days with no direction or suggestions or tours. We would not recommend this company and we give it a poor rating.
-
Words cannot do this tour justice! We enjoyed everything that was offered to us. If you like a tour that allows for a lot of free time, this is for you. If you go to Amalfi, make sure your hotel is The Excelsior, as this was the highlight of the whole tour!
-
THE TOUR ON A WHOLE WAS A GOOD GETAWAY ,THE BUS TO THE AMALFI COAST DID NOT TAKE US TO NAPLES,POMPEII SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT ANNYBODY OVER 60 SHOULD BEWARE AS WALKING AMONG THE RUINS WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE AND ON RETURNING TO OUR ROME HOTEL THE BUS DID NOT STOP WERE IT HAD PICKED US UP SO THOSE IN THEIR 70 'S HAD TO DRAG THE BAGS DOWN TWO BLOCKS .I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THIS AS MY MOTHER IN LAW WAS WITH US AND THIS WAS A BIG PROBLEM,WHY DID THEY NOT RETURN US TO OUR START POINT PICK UP POINT AT THE HOTEL.WE WERE STILL ON THE BUS NOT RECOGNISING THE STREET AND THEY CALLED OUT OUR NAMES AND TOLD US OUR BAGS WERE ON THE STREET,ALSO THAT THE GUIDE ON THE RETURN TRIP DID NOT GIVE US ANY INFO ON OUR ROUTE AS WE WENT ON OUR WAY BACK TO ROME.

the trip was amazing, we had so much fun, the guides were greatmultilingual, the hotels were nice, especially the one in Amalfi, the company is very professional, everything was exactly on time, they treated us very well, they even sent us a private car Mercedes-Benz when there was nobody besides us going from pompeii to amalfi.
the whole experience was lovely, we will definitely do again with viator, and we do recommend it to everyone. -
I booked this on the Internet and had no idea if it would be decent or not it just accommodated our 6 day time frame perfectly. i highly recommend itt( upgrade the Rome hotel) I I booked a few excursions with them. Genny (tour contact in Rome)alwayavailable. My absolute favorite was the Amalfi Coast

My husband and I thought that this was a great tour! The tour guides were great. We thought the price was great.
-
Walking tour of Rome was fantastic with great guide (Guido). Rome hotel convenient (but unsafe) location. Tours of Naples and Pompeii were disappointing as guide didn't have great English. Amalfi hotel great location but very dated. On return bus sat unnecessarily for 1 hour in Naples.
-
The hotels were very nice. The guided tours are a must because you would miss so much history the guides made it so enjoyable.. Only my friend and I went on to Amalfi by private driver and we were on our own. What fabulous place wish I had stayed a few days longer. It was a fun trip

The Amalfi coast and hotel excelsior were good but lots of free time kills the purpose of an "escorted tour" though especially for first time visitors with poor Italian. The tour guides at Pompeii and Rome didn't give much historical background and just wanted to get done.Rosa in the bus was good.
