Day 1: Rome Pompeii SorrentoMeet your guide in central Rome and travel south by air-conditioned minivan to Campania. On route, absorb the views over Italy’s countryside and hear fascinating facts about the region and the UNESCO-listed Pompeii.
After roughly 2.5 hours, arrive at Pompeii, the ancient Roman city that was buried under volcanic ash when Mt Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD.
Explore this haunting site independently or take a 2-hour tour led by a local guide (own expense). Stroll around the streets to see the remains of fresco-painted houses, baths, shops and brothels, and explore the Forum, the town's once-bustling main square, all of which lay buried under ash until they were uncovered in the 18th century.
Then, return to your minivan and travel to Sorrento, the vibrant clifftop town that has been one of the Amalfi Coast's top resorts since the days of the Romans.
Check in at your camping village and enjoy an orientation walk of Sorrento. Amble through the center with your guide to see the main points of interest, including the Piazza Tasso in the Old Town. Then, visit a limoncello shop to learn how this quintessentially Italian lemon liqueur is made. (It's also a great opportunity to try a complimentary glass.)
Back at your accommodation, enjoy free time to spend as you wish, or perhaps head out to dinner at a local restaurant with your guide and fellow travelers, followed by drinks at a nearby club. Bring your wallet: all food and drink is at your own expense.
Overnight: Camping village in Sorrento
Day 2: Sorrento Capri Sorrento (B) Board a hydrofoil watercraft from Sorrento to the beautiful island of Capri. Absorb views of the Bay of Naples as you cruise, and on arrival, enjoy free time to discover this glamorous island any way you want.
Explore the swish squares, restaurants and boutiques of Capri Town, hit the beach, or visit the pretty hilltop village of Anacapri. Alternatively, ride the chairlift up Mt Solaro for spectacular views or scout around the ruined Villa Jovis, the long-ago seaside palace of Roman Emperor Tiberius.
Reconvene with your guide in the afternoon and take a boat trip around Capri’s stunning sea cliffs and caves.
Return to the mainland and your camping village, and enjoy the evening independently, or sit down for another evening of dinner and drinks with your guide and other travelers at the campsite's restaurant (own expense).
Overnight: Camping village in Sorrento
Day 3 Sorrento Amalfi Positano Sorrento (B)Leave Sorrento on a full-day cruise along the picturesque Amalfi Coast. Take photos as you glide past the Li Galli islands and village of Praiano, and perhaps enjoy an optional trip (own expense) into the Emerald Grotto, a sea cave fabled for its green waters.
When you reach the town of Amalfi, step ashore and discover this charming place on your own. Perhaps climb the steps to its marble-striped cathedral, unwind on the beach, or settle into a pasta or pizza restaurant for a bite to eat (own expense).
After roughly two hours, cruise on to Positano, regarded as the jewel of the Amalfi Coast towns. Admire its pastel-washed houses that cascade down the cliffs, and enjoy free time to look around. Dive down the steep, cobbled lanes, browse the trendy stores, and soak up the awesome views and cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Arrive back at your accommodation in the early evening. The night is yours to do as you please, perhaps enjoy dinner (own expense) at a pizza restaurant with your fellow travelers and guide.
Overnight: Camping village in Sorrento
Day 4 Sorrento Naples Rome (B) Check out of your accommodation and travel to Naples, the birthplace of pizza. The city is filled some 2,500 years of history which you can find at the monuments and buzzing markets, and a zest for life that’s impossible to ignore.
Enjoy an orientation walk as your guide shows you the main streets and monuments, including the palace-lined Plebiscito Square, San Carlo Opera House and the glass-domed Umberto I Gallery. Afterward, delve deeper into city life on your own; you can visit the art-filled Royal Palace of Naples, roam the famously chaotic backstreets and markets, and then stop to try a classic Neapolitan pizza.
Later, relax on your drive to Rome, where your tour ends back at the original meeting point in the late afternoon.飯店接送

Our tour guide Veronica was amazing! The tour took us through southern Italy which was amazing, would definitely recommend Italy on a Budget Tours.
-
Tour was great. I had a wonderful time. Our tour guide, Alfonso, was very knowledgeable but I think he could have been a little more professional at times. I would recommend this tour!

Love this tour! Great experience. I have recommended it to everyone I know.
OUr tour guide Rhianne was so sweet and knowledgeable. Wish there were more tours like this one! -
Rhianne was an awesome tour guide and knew so much about Italy and its history. Only problem was that I would have liked to stay longer in Naples, otherwise definitely a tour worth doing!

Ben was our guide for the Amalfi coast tour. We met him at the origination spot and he was very friendly from the beginning. During the tour he was accommodating, enthusiastic, and fun. Ben assured us that traveling with our 2 large suitcases would be fine for the bus and cabin as my daughter and I were traveling for 2 weeks and had no other options. The bus ride was comfortable and the cabin at Santa Fortunata campsite was very clean and quiet. The staff at Santa Fortunata were very friendly and accommodating. We did not have breakfast there as per the original itinerary which I did not notice until the last day.
The schedule was very good and covered many interesting places and sites. Our group was disappointed that the tide was too high to visit the blue grotto. Ben attempted to find other excursions for some group members when we visited Capri and Amalfi but was unsuccessful because of unavailability. The weather was gorgeous and the towns were very busy!
One suggestion I would make would have the tour guide provide information about the areas that are traveled through on the bus rides. There was an opportunity to do this as there was a lot of quiet time on the bus and people were interested in knowing about the area.
