Hear the legend of the 14th-century monk whose bouquet of wildflowers led to the creation of the island’s first perfume, and learn how Carthusia’s perfumes are produced by hand, using only local, natural ingredients.After your orientation tour with your local guide, browse the charming boutiques, or purchase a tantalizing Italian lunch in a traditional restaurant as you soak up incredible views of the sunbaked Bay of Naples just across the water.Alternatively, join in an optional tour to visit the world-renowned Blue Grotto (own expense). The cave is said to have sunk further into the sea since prehistoric times, blocking out most natural light. We loved this tour. Our guide was wonderful, and although it is a big day, it was made very comfortable and informative. We saw most of Capri and anacpri, and enjoyed it.

I loved Capri, it is a beautiful place! The tour was fantastic, our guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. It was extremely hot, as well as crowded on the island, which made the ferry ride and part of the walk somewhat uncomfortable, but despite that the tour was very good, I highly recommend it.

I believe that this day trip was our favorite part of our Rome trip. Much more than we expected. Melanie was very easy to talk with and made the 3 hour ride go by quickly. Her tips on exploring Rome were appreciated. Fabian was a true expert on Capri. Fun filled day. If you are going to take a day away from Rome, please do not hesitate on this memorable experience.

The local tour operator really cares about their customers. The buses were cool and comfortable, and we appreciated the scheduled stops on the way there and back to grab a coffee, use the restroom ,and stretch our legs. Our main guide Antonella was very friendly and knowledgeable, and she made sure no one got left behind along the way. Our local guide Giorgio lived right in Anacapri, so he was able to give us a local's perspective. They take you around the area to point out things you might be interested in before letting you loose to explore. The only negative encounter we had was with the Carthusia perfumery promoted by the tour guides. The staff there was rude, unprofessional, and clearly didn't want our business. Obviously, this isn't the fault of the local tour operator, but they should be careful which businesses they promote. Overall, this tour is a great way to get a taste of Anacapri and Capri to see if you might want to take a separate trip there in the future.

I was one of the first to take this tour in April 2015 and I had an absolutely wonderful time. Antonella was our guide for the day and she was wonderful. Our local guide on the island, Fabian, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and obviously proud of his home island. Since the group is small, there is a bit of flexibility as far as the itinerary, which was wonderful. By the way...I preferred Anacapri nod to Fabian...LOL.

Antonella was amazing! She was one of the most upbeat and knowledgeable tour guides I have ever had. What a delight it was to spend the day with her. Chechilia was lovely as well, and so passionate about her hometown of Capri. Mario was a safe and happy driver. We enjoyed having the option to visit the Blue Grotto. Everything went exceedingly well, and on time. I would recommend Viator tours to all my friends. Thank you!

This trip was just wonderful!! Our guide was Melanie and she was so funny, helpful and informative - we all really liked her!! She was a huge help to my sister who was having problems walking. Melanie personally kept a check on her so that she didn't get left behind. She also took her to the Blue Grotto, even though my sister was the only one interested in going. Ceclia was also very good! Thank you both for a great memory!!
